Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

My first time here and our server Elisabeth outdid herself, give her a raise immediately. She recommended great options and made the experience a 10/10. Ordered the tator tots and WOW, the pancakes are also everything.

I ordered the Mama's Pancake meal. The pancakes were yellow not browned at all. I was dining with a friend. I didn't send the pancakes back for fear of embarrassing my friend. I ate what edges I could because the centers were practically raw batter. Very disappointed.

I've been a customer of cracker barrel for some time. However, there new menu isn't clear and is misleading. They charge .99 per turkey product or veggie product that comes with a breakfast meal..for example if I order a breakfast meal with meat and ask for turkey or veggie product there is an upcharge. If the meal comes with 3 pork sausages they will charge you .99 each 3 turkey sausages. So an extra 3.00.

The last time we went they didn't even tell us this until we paid and the amount we were charged was equal to a meal for our family who swapped meats. Service is never an issue and he apologized but all staff needs to make this clear. One time prior we werent even charged which was odd. They even do the same for kids meals. The kids meal came with 2 sausages and we were charged .99 each for 2 turkey sausages. An extra 2.00. The meat is hard and not quality turkey sausage.

You might as well ask for less meat products since they are charging you full price for the meal and an extra .99 extra per non pork product that comes with the meal. No where does it say this on the kids menu and I couldn't find this detail on the regular menu.

Transparency with pricing is important ...

I left feedback via email and their customer service just said thanks for the feedback so really wasn't a good use of time unless they make a change to their menu again..

I had the pot roast with mashed potatoes and green beans. Good food and the waitress was very friendly. My caregiver had the fried catfish and I took home my mom the grilled catfish. I highly recommend the pot roast and get the wild berry tea.

7 of my friends and myself went to Cracker Barrel in Trevose Pennsylvania today for lunch we're seniors and I have to say we were treated with such respect and just felt so much love from the servers they all greeted us some of them knew us because we go there every once in a while. Zach R was our server. He is so great so nice. And always gets our orders right and the food comes out hot. We have alot of fun in there and we always leave with candy from the 1950s and clothes. We love cracker barrel, the servers, hosts and especially the food. Zach R is like a grandson to us. He's the best so great. Thanks Cracker Barrel for a great time. Cathy D.

The atmosphere was great just like when I was there years ago but the food was horrible. Our young waitress tried her best but she was very slow and I think she must have forgotten about us waiting and waiting for our food. It was a Sunday night and not even that busy. When she finally brought our food out she forgot all about our appetizer which was fried pickles. She only brought out my fried chicken and my friends burger. We then reminded her we had ordered pickles and then a half hour later by the end of our meal she brought them out. Not sure why she brought ranch dressing with the fried pickles as it clearly says a spicy sauce is included anyway my fried chicken was cold and rubbery like it had been sitting out for a couple days. We just saw the commercial for the fresh hot crunchy chicken that looked yummy so thats why we picked Cracker barrel and boy were we wrong. The Chicken was BAD!! It also came with steak fries which weren't bad but we only got like 6 so it was more like a kids meal. The coleslaw was BAD!! It tasted rancid and had a bad smell!! Praying i don't get sick from tasting it. My friend ordered the new breakfast burger that looked ok but again only got 4 steak fries on his plate. Not sure what was going on today in there but my sister was leaving as we were going in and she said her crispy chicken salad was horrible today and her friend was getting sick in the bathroom after eating the new breakfast burger. I hope it was just a bad off day for the cooks and the food gets better cause it was a horrible experience!! I love the store and the atmosphere but the food was NOT GOOD!! Maybe cause it was a Sunday at 5pm but the food should always be fresh and consistent not just on weekdays.

Had the chance to visit my first Cracker Barrel today and it was a great experience! Our waitress was friendly, the food was delicious, and the interior was so fun to look around. I also loved browsing the store—so many cute items! Jamie at the store was super helpful and answered all my questions so nicely, which I appreciated. Would definitely come back!

It was great and I think the fireplace is a very nice touch however the smell of the burning wood kind of turned me off while eating

Great invite come over and visit

We introduced our granddaughter to her first of many Cracker Barrel visits. We were traveling through Pennsylvania and stopped at the Cracker Barrel on Horizon Blvd in Trevose. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere is always soothing. The girls even braved the cold, 21 degrees, for a quick game of checkers outside in the rockers!
