Everything, from the communication leading up to our visit, to the elegant service, delicious food (even with an electrical problem in the kitchen causing a limited selection - so well handled we hardly noticed!), to the buzzing ambience, to the superb setting and decor - all came together in a perfectly beautiful evening. 10 out of 10! A must do - well worth the price and the perfect L.A experience. The hostess, Barbara, was friendly and welcoming from the first greeting and gave us our choice of table on the terrace. Turn off your phones and put them away. No, seriously. Yes, those kind of people go there, frequently and they dont want no amateur paparazzi ruining their casting role ask, or production funding outline, or the delivery of the treatment. The lobster tacos were good, the celery soup was to die for. The waitstaff brings a smile to the guests every time. The maitre d's are like Medusas' capable of discernment at a glance, they dont smile so much as they pull their lips...
