Waitress was great. Problems:
1. Waited 15 minutes in middle of afternoon just to be waited on
2. Served over fried cold French fries about 12 total
3. Chicken was fatty and tasted terrible

Stopped here for lunch. Burger was ok but French fries were way too overcooked. Also was very uncomfortable that servers were all dressed in jeans. It was too unprofessional and when I was paying for my bill. Waitress was in front of me complaining that she only made $50 in tips. That kind of complaint should not be told in front of customers even after she was my waitress and really was not good with another customer cos of the food not being cooked the way they needed

Love this place and love that no matter where I go in the country, it's always the same here. When I come here Im reminded of so many happy memories coming to these restaurants over the decades with different family members that have long since passed away. When I come here I feel like im back home.

It was awful.we were seated promptly & that was it. We gave the waitress our order immediately and then waited for over 35 minutes to get the food. She never came back to offer refills on drinks. At one point we asked where our food was & we’re told it would be out soon. The delay was in the kitchen. We asked for biscuits & we’re told they do not serve them anymore until the food order arrives. We ordered the Friday fish fry. What a disappointment. Three tiny pieces of cod no longer than a fish stick. One order asked for steak fries as a side…imagine 8–2 of which were small—fries!! Quality and quantity sure went downhill. We talked to the manager who apologized for the wait and deducted the drinks—1 soda & 1 glass of milk— from the bill…wow!

The more nostalgic you keep this place, the more profitable your company will be. People long for the slower, comfortable, and less complicated pace and ways of the past. The rustic look in the interior of the building should be maintained, as well as the exterior. Do not change the decor or the outside patio; this is what sets you apart from Denny's, Applebee's, Golden Corral, and other theme restaurants. Your theme is nostalgic country living, featuring a home-cooked meal in an old-time escape for weary travelers who need a break from the craziness of the modern world. WE DON'T like MODERN, that is one big reason we choose your Country Store. By the way, this store has not been renovated yet; let's keep it that way.
