Don Juan’s in Emmaus is a hidden gem, especially if you’re looking for delicious, vegetarian-friendly Mexican food. Their customizable bowls are a game changer — you can build your meal exactly how you like it with fresh ingredients, flavorful toppings, and tons of veggie options. I really appreciate how easy it is to eat healthy and plant-based here without sacrificing flavor.
The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the service is quick even during busy hours. The atmosphere is upbeat and clean, making it a great spot for lunch or dinner. Whether you’re vegetarian or just looking for a fresh, satisfying meal, Don Juan’s has you covered. Highly recommend!
Excellent carnitas! I appreciate the wide range of choices to customize your bowl or burrito. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful! Service was excellent.
Our server was very nice but they forgot many of the toppings in our burritos, and when we showed them they asked the chef who claimed it was there. It's a shame cause I really liked this place before and came often months ago. So I took my mother who was visiting from New York.
We have done 2 catering orders from Don Juan Fogelsville and both were excellent. They give you a ton of food and everything you need including utensils and sauces. It all tastes great too.
Great staff. Great food. I go back and forth between this one and the one in Emmaus depending on where I'm closer to. I had an issue with this order however. There was a missing ingredient. There was no hot sauce. I'm not going to leave anything less than five stars because like I said great restaurant and I know how ratings affect things, but maybe I could get like a free taco or something next time because I had to use Taco Bell mild sauce and it was not that good.
Food was good.

Lo and behold Brenda wasn’t there the OWNER at the counter was Mariam she couldn’t do anything about it because “Brenda”wasn’t there now I have to make another trip ? They gave me 2 oz of fish in a 12 dollar burrito. Should have gone to Chipotle. Next time I will!

Ordered chimichangas. Not as good as they used to be. Mostly rice and very dry. The shrimp had 5 small shrimp in it. Nothing else. The beef when I cut it in half had no beef in one half and 4 small pieces total. Won’t be buying their stuff anymore
Ordered a simple burrito with ground beef, rice, refried beans, black beans, and cheese. Got a burrito that was extremely salty with what I assume was ground beef, rice, and lettuce. Not a very complicated order to mess up. Especially when you’re the only one in there. Food was just mediocre. Go to the place in Trexlertown across from Walmart. Very good fresh food.

We came here for the first time and got tacos and a bowl. Everything felt flavorless and boring. The chicken tasted very salty. We ordered and got the food within five minutes, which is worrying because there was no one else there at the time. I think they make a bunch of food ahead of time and serve it out which sucks. I don’t think I’ll ever go back. There are plenty of great Mexican restaurants in the Valley. Sucks that this isn’t one.

Ordered on line at 10:30am for 11:45am pick up. Went to get it had to wait till Noon to get the food .Burrito didn't have enough meat and was bland .The Quseo chorizo was like oil slick. Chips were stale. The Beef Quesadia that was order was greasy and bland the regular Quseo was watery. Have never had a problem at the Fogelsville one before..... will not order from them ever again.

I'd probably eat here everyday if I could. The crunch on the hard taco shell is addicting. Chicken and ground beef are delicious but the chorizo isn't really flavored to my liking. Sauces and salsas are good, but the hot could be much spicier. It's more of a gringo style place or like a chipotle to a lesser degree. Good food, though.
