Traveling through from out of town stopped in this place for a bite to eat . What an eclectic gem!
Food was delicious. Both of us had differently topped burgers that we enjoyed, the fried macaroni and cheese dipped in tomato soup appetizer.
I had homemade chips which were chef kiss. Unfortunately,I did not have room for dessert. I would’ve loved to try that Ube cheesecake!!
If I’m ever passing through or even nearby that area in the future, I’m definitely stopping back in!!

Saddest excuse I've ever experienced for a chicken sandwich. The thickest part of the chicken was maybe a quarter inch at best and it was so over cooked i could barely bite through sections. I've had better fast food chicken for half the price

My cousin was in from WA, and we were trying to find a place open on a Monday. I had the Bee-L-T-A, and my cousin had the chicken caprese sando. They came out looking delicious and smelling even better! My cousin was impressed with the balsamic on her sandwich, and the aioli on my sandwich had a nice little kick. The bread was amazing & lightly toasted. Perfection! I will definitely be coming back!

The Canning House is on point! This is a gem nestled in an old factory. Easy to get to, everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. Not good, not decent, I mean yummy with a capital Y. Crabby cheese fries with a generous amount of real crabmeat! Cauli wings are crispy cauliflower florets with a twist and several different dipping sauces ...crazy good. Reuben, Cuban... both excellent. Soups are out of this world. Salads are excellent. Ice tea is homemade and good. The ONLY thing I've ordered that I didn't LOVE was their coffee beverages... but that's deeply personal and I'm a coffee snob. Desserts are sooo worth your time...try something unfamiliar... you won't regret it! The atmosphere is eclectic and charming, with high ceilings and an artsy vibe. Def more casual than fancy, we still celebrated a graduation here, and everyone loved it. You can walk around and view art installations in other parts of the building or shop in various stores. There's even a spot where they do art classes. FABULOUS eatery with friendly, fast service.

Food was delish. Had the crabby gilled cheese and it was dynamite. Be prepared to spend some dough though.

I love this place so much! The interior is beautiful and the food is great, but the customer service is even better! I had Cienna as my server and she was very prompt and thorough! It’s clear the staff works great as a team. Whether ordering to go, or dining in, it’s always a great experience. Their rose latte is so yummy, also their mac & cheese is next level! But the grilled cheese with tomato soup & the chicken & waffles are my FAVORITE! I would highly recommend this place as a brunch spot with the girls, or maybe a nice date or even a treat-yo-self kind of day! Oh and did I mention it’s beautiful inside?! Like walking into a rose garden Alice in wonderland type of deal. Amazing, definitely will be back again and again. 🩷

I’ve been a loyal customer here for years, but unfortunately, the overall quality has noticeably declined. The food, which once felt thoughtfully prepared and well-balanced, now seems inconsistent at best. While the service has never been the restaurant’s strongest point, I’ve always tried to be understanding—especially as someone who works in the industry and knows how demanding it can be. However, during my recent visits, the restaurant has been nearly empty, which makes the lack of attentiveness increasingly difficult to justify.

Most recently, I dined with a few acquaintances and the experience was unusually disappointing. The tomato soup, which is typically garnished with croutons, was served plain, and when we politely asked our server, Sab, if we could have the croutons added, they never arrived. I eventually had to go ask someone at the counter myself. In response, the server made a dismissive comment to the food runner, saying “it was just soup”—which, while technically true, didn’t reflect the level of care or hospitality one might expect, especially when dining out.

To add to that, there was an unexpected upcharge just to get a small side of syrup for my waffle, and the lemonade was first overly sour, then far too sweet after an attempted fix. It’s a shame because this place used to be a reliable favorite of mine. Now, it feels more like a shadow of what it once was. I truly hope things turn around, but sadly, the recent visits have left me more disappointed than satisfied.
