This was my first time to the Franklin Roadhouse. I stopped here because it was on my home from backpacking a portion of the North Country Trail in the Allegheny National Forest. I was looking for a nice restaurant where I could get a steak dinner and relaxing atmosphere. This place did not disappoint.I started with a bowl of New England Clam Chowder. I then had the Sirlion Steak with mashed poratoes and gravy. It came with a side salad, but I had them leave off the croutons. Everything was delicious... very good.The service was great. The food was very good. The atmosphere was perfect. The facility was clean. I couldn't have been more happy with this stop.As a side note, it was too early in the season, so the patio/yard seating was not open. I have to imagine that the outside seating makes this already great place even better.I live in the Youngstown/Warren area of Ohio, so it's about an hour away for me. I will definitely be back.Note to management: The one thing I would have ordered had it been on the menu is a skewer of grilled shrimp to compliment the steak.

Placed an online pick up order. Was up charged $6 for adding mushrooms and peppers to burger. $9 for zucchini fries that they didn't have so they subbed pickle fries that sucked. Veggie burger also sucked. Ordered a side salad that was not in the box when I opened it up. Would not come back

Our second time here since they reopened - and the second time the food was definitely not good. Value received for the price - definitely not worth it! Not giving them a third chance - we have tried fish, Stuffed Flounder, Prime Rib, and Reubens and all were extremely disappointing. Such a shame as this used to be one of my Franklin favorites.

Have eaten there several times and got good food. Not so on st Patty's day. The veggies weren't done, the corn beef was tuff and looked like lunch meat. We ordered 2 dinners and threw 1 and 1/2of them out. Really dissapointed.

We love coming here to eat! It's always busy! Sometimes there's a wait but that is expected! Customer service is wonderful. If you ever have an issue, always ask for the mamanger. She's AMAZING and will fix any problem with nothing short of professionalism. She's very polite, nice and willing to work with you. One of the best places in Franklin! Highly recommend!
