2.5/5. I have been stopping in on my way through town for the last 4 months or so. Last Saturday I arrived at about 8:02 and the lights were off. I walked around the block and came back and they were open. There were a couple of people in front of me at that point who ordered multiple drinks. I only ordered a cappuccino in a mug.
I waited about 10 minutes and watched the first orders get filled, then multiple orders of people who ordered after me. So I walked up and waited another 8 minutes or so while two more customers who ordered after me were served their coffees. I heard one of the baristas multiple times tell the barista who was making the coffees that I had been waiting a long time. The latter barista seemed to ignore this fact and continued making everyone else's coffee.
At that point, the barista who took my order came up and made it herself. She made it in a hurry, and with good reason, since I had been waiting about 18 minutes for it. I was glad she was concerned where the other one was unconcerned. Unfortunately, however, the cappuccino tasted poor due to the haste.
I've had great capps here before. I'm hoping this was only a one-off.
Insofar as food, I have had the lox bagel and unfortunately it was a tiny slice of salmon and a bus-load of cream cheese. It was not very good due to that. Breakfast sandwiches I've had have been pretty good.
Service is generally friendly and great. I'll try again and if I feel like I'm being shaken out due to my easy, small order, I'll go elsewhere.
Great place, very good avocado toast.

This coffee shop is a perfect spot for a relaxing morning. Their bagel breakfast sandwich is a standout. Paired with great coffee and a warm and cozy atmosphere, it’s an ideal place!

They pull a great espresso. Tasty cappuccino for a reasonable $3.65 before tax & tip.

Smaller cup sizes than I'm used to at my local coffee shop, but the latte is great. I love the atmosphere, and plenty of seating. Soft seats in the back, small tables or ginormous, or sit at the front live edge slab, and watch the pedestrians and traffic. A bustling historic downtown.

Ordered a French toast iced latte and the person working recommend the brown sugar cold foam. It was so delicious, it's been my go-to for a while now. Also had a French toast bagel with apple pie cream cheese and shared some with my co-workers, they all loved it. They aren't stingy with the cream cheese either, it's a really good amount, absolutely worth it ❤️ Vibes in there are great, too, and super nice staff.

Such a wonderful accident that I stumbled upon this shop after trail running at Oil Creek State Park. It is such a cute shop and the staff were so welcoming and kind! I really enjoyed my drink and almost picked up a shirt, maybe I will look online. Thank you!

If you thought Starbucks or Dunkin was expensive, go to this place and be completely misled by the menu. It’s sad because I really wanted to support a local small business but 7$ for a medium burnt coffee is a (((little))) crazy. This is probably the last time I’m going there, but I hope they get better with the menu descriptions.
Also 50$ for a T shirt is wild , along with a 15$ sandwich..

The avocado toast was amazing! Tasted great. Cilantro and avocado were fresh; not a brown spot to be found.

It's a real gem right in the heart of walkable, historic Franklin with traditional coffee/espresso drinks, an amazing selection of tea-based combos and a few small bites. If you want you can also pick up some of their roasted coffee to go.
I visit Franklin about monthly and always make sure to swing by Iron Furnace Coffee because it feels like a treat every time. I get a cappuccino or latte and sometimes get a dollop of cold foam.
The only complaint I have is that my latte/cap are never quite hot enough. I don't like my drinks scalding hot like some others do but even when I ask for extra hot it seems a bit lukewarm. It's not perfect but it's a solid cup and I look forward to it when I roll through town.
Vegetarian options: Mostly breakfast-y foods throughout the day like oatmeal, pastries, bagel, avo toast, but you could easily have dinner with their kale salad or butternut squash soup or maybe something else on the rotating menu.
Dietary restrictions: Lots of milk choices, variety of small dishes which probably accommodate a lot of requirements. There are certainly vegetarian and vegan from what I've seen. The menu seems to vary often so checking directly would be important if your diet is restrictive.
Parking: Street parking which varies throughout the day, and week, and year, right in the heart of downtown Franklin.
Kid-friendliness: Lots of space to move around with a few large shared tables and a couple of smaller ones.
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel right in with no steps and wide spaces between tables.

In town from Texas visiting family and was very happy to find this place. Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwich. Even better than most of the cafes in Houston. Fun record shop in there to browse as well. Highly recommended. Would be even better if they had a couple small tables out front to enjoy the weather on a good day

Finally got the chance to stop in and absolutely loved my experience! The staff & service were great! I loved the atmosphere of the shop while I got some work done on my laptop. I got an iced vanilla latte and was one of the best I’ve had locally!
Parking: There are limited spots directly in front of the shop but a decent amount of parking just around the corner by Bella’s.
