Owner (Kate Speerstra) is not a good person and will lose business after mistreating a customer. All over a $4 food item which was paid for and not put in the bag. Hung up on the customer when customer called about the forgotten food item. Not a very good way to do business or retain customers.

I placed a mobile order from Subway in Franklin that included the new churros. The cashier forgot to put them in the bag. I realized this when I returned home and called the restaurant. The girl that answered the phone took my name and said she would leave a note and I could pick them up next time I placed an order. I placed an order today. When my daughter went to pick it up the person refused to give her the churros. I called and asked to speak with the manager. The person on the phone told me she was the manager. I explained the situation and she said I should have called and told her what the cashier said to me to verify it. . I asked if my daughter could return to the store and pick up the churros. She said no I would need to bring the receipt in. I then asked for the owners name and she said she was the owner and refused to tell me her name. She asked me for my name which I told her and then she hung up on me. I tried to call the store back several times and no answer. I looked her up online, her name is Kate Speerstra and my daughter did confirm that is who she spoke with. I don't understand, why we were treated this way over $4.00 worth of product. If she would have looked at my order history, she would have realized, I order from the store several times a month. She was very rude and has lost my business for good.

Food is sub-par, employees are rude, and it’s really ominous and creepy and the bathroom is really small for a large gal like me

I couldn’t help but notice how clean this Subway was and all the toppings looked incredibly fresh and delicious - so much that I ended up getting more toppings than my usual order at another subway. The two women were also incredibly friendly and kind. Recommend stopping at this subway if you are passing through!

I quit buying from this place when their transaction terminal started suggesting that I give a tip. It's not that I don't want their employees to be paid enough to live on. But my guess is that if the tips amount to enough for the employees to earn above minimum wage on tips alone, then their wages will be reduced to that of servers at restaurants who work for mostly tips and the employer only pays them $2.75 or something like that. That's the agenda behind our out-of-control tip culture. If the employees get enough tips, then the employer doesn't have to pay their employees. I don't like this corporate ideology about how employers shouldn't have to pay employees and the employees have to beg customers to pay them because their employer won't.And the employees are getting sort of nasty, and it seems that being rude with customers is now completely acceptable. I'm not a demanding customer. The young girl who was openly hostile toward older generations got angry with me for wanting her to put salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar on my sandwich. You know, a standard sandwich and salad dressing. She was pretty clearly felt that I was ordering some exotic custom sort of dressing, and she was angry about that. Apparently, salt, pepper, oil, and vinegar is now some sort of weird Boomer thing, instead of the most common salad and sandwich dressing on earth. She had never heard of such a thing, and it made her visibly angry.I can totally understand the young sandwich maker's disenchantment with corporate overlords and late-stage capitalism, but I'm going back into the woods where humanity maybe should have stayed.
