I enjoy some outback every now and then. This time the overall experience wasn't the greatest. The workers were pleasant so that was not the problem. I set at the bar and it took over 5 minutes to be greeted by the bartender (maybe they were short staffed by the bar only had a few people and the restaurant wasn't crowded). The bartender was friendly and courteous. I got take out, my usual yummy kookaburro wings and cheese fries minus the bacon and boomerang mozzarella sticks. While I was waiting I ordered a sweet tea which for some reason it wasn't at the bar so had to wait for it to come from the back. The tea was delicious. When my food finally came, there was no silverware and no napkins. The bartender got me some silverware as I could see she was frustrated that it wasn't in there as she notated it and she also notated bread which was also not there. I gave her a nice tip as none of it was her fault. When I got home, I was excited to eat the food. Made me a plate and dug in but really couldn't eat the food. It was way too salty. The wings, the cheese fries were very salty and wasn't much cheese on the fries. I was very surprised and not happy but I wasn't driving 40 minutes back to bring the food back so i ended up tossing it. Even the marinara sauce wasn't great, it was watery. Not a great experience.
