First and foremost the wine bar portion of this name needs to be dropped. The 'wine bar' does not have a wine list. We were informed that there is red and white, despite clearly having several varieties of each. The outdoor seating area is in disrepair. Minimally it could use a trash pick up, power wash, and a coat of paint.

This is NOT a wine bar. It may have been in the past, but is not currently. They do have wine, but probably not the kind you’d expect in a true wine bar. The waitress was very nice and understanding. It’s unfortunate as the actual restaurant/wine bar looks like it was really cute. It is a typical hotel bar.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Tried to dine in...was one reason we chose that hotel. Bar and restaurant, fire pits and outdoor seating. Sat with my husband for 5 minutes. Staff looked at us but NO ONE came to the table. There were others eating and drinking. We asked one staff who walked by if there was a menu. She asked the bar staff (3 of them) and then walked away. There was a wedding rehearsal dinner in the actual restaurant so the bar was our only choice, no big deal for us but after a full 10 min of being ignored,.(infact someone who sat after us got a waiter with menus before we did!) We got up and walked over to Outback. When my husband mentioned it to the front desk, that we are taking our $$$ to Outback, their reply???? "OK."Honestly, 3 bar staff looked at us, knew we wanted menues and did not come to the table.....but served some people who came in after us. What?!?! Ok, then we wanted to sit out by the firepit. When a guy lit it.....it was pathetic. Not like the photos at all....big let down. Plus, crabby bar tender acted "burnt-out" at her job. Asked for 2 fingers of Makers Mark neat....got a very slim pour...like 2 toddler fingers. Ugh!Pool and hot tub were good!

Omg! These people can throw down! Let me be more specific, chef Troy will bring you Joy make you go home and use your toy! That food was so good I had to rhyme on that one!We have come here at least five times already and each time we've come the food has been awesome sauce!I always get the braised short ribs, boneless... No fat lingering... All melt in your mouth, then combined with the mash potatoes and gravy! Chile cheese!I know I sound like a fat girl, but lawd have mercy!Today I had the green bean with my meal... Let me speak on that as well! I had to pace myself because I didn't want to leave them delicious green beans on that plate! My partner always gets the lemon thyme roasted chicken breast with rice pilaf and broccoli... She cleared her plate as well! I'm talking consistently, each time, flavors never wavering, ALWAYS on point! Then you have the bartender Miss Brenda, (who by the way had a birthday today! HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS BRENDA!!! ?) and let me tell you, when you go ask for the Miss Brenda specialty sweet drink!I'm excited because we are always disappointed when we go spend our money at some of these other places and they f@*# your food up, smdh. You should never have an issue here at the White Horse Tavern & Wine bar! After you eat you gonna wanna waddle on over and get you a room! Comfortable beds and most of the staff is awesome!! Mr Craig is a delightful and humorous dude and we will most def Always Make this our restaurant and hotel of choice (Sheraton Great Valley) in Frazer, PA!!!!
Stayed for two nights with my partner after a long day of flying and travelling. The room was perfect, spacious and comfortable. The hotel bar downstairs was an absolute treat from the drinks to the food (it was my first ever Philly cheese steak, I'd easily go back again for another some time) and a big shout out has to go to Brenda behind the bar, we loved her wit and personality, and especially because she can pull a decent pint of Guinness (and that's coming from an Irishman). My partner and I would absolutely go back again.
Lovely Atmosphere, Relatively Quiet, Loved the Koala Cocktail! Our Server was efficient, and Extremely polite!
Attended class reunion, so the buffet style dinner was pre paid. Food was mediocre and the cash bar very expensive. Decor was good as well as service.
Wonderful place to dine while staying at the Sheraton Great Valley In Pennsylvania. Our waitress Shakira was lovely kind and on the ball. She was so delightful and located my wife’s purse when she accidentally left it in restaurant. I highly recommend dining at Tavern & Wine bar
