Cherry's Caribbean Palace - Jamaican and Soul Food

I want to say that this lovely family took me back to my youth with their amazingly authentic cuisine! The jerk pork was the perfect degree of spice and tenderness and the ox tails were a well l. I’ll definitely be back when I come through this area!!

Ms Cherry is an amazing person. Her food is authentic jamaican food. I had the oxtails with white rice and cabbage with a side of jerk chicken. The oxtails were tender and flavorful and cooked to perfection. The gravy was amazing. I just wish I had more in my plate. I know oxtails are expensive so I dont mind paying the price. I had about 3 full pieces so I think I could have had more. The cabbage was cooked and seasoned excellently but could have been more in the plate. Im used to it falling out the sides at other places. The jerk chicken was AH-MAZING. The spice the kick it was spot on. Loved it. The chicken was dry seemed like it was reheated but it was still the bomb dry and I still ate it all. So you know it was good!!!! Ms Cherry is sweet woman. Her son works with her. It's not sit down you order through a window. They have seating outside. The street is under construction but they are open. Go here you will not be disappointed. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. And more importantly you will be supporting a local small business. I can't wait to go back. I highly recommend you eat here.

A hidden gem for sure. Ordered the oxtail, excellent with flavor in every bite that simply tasted like I couldn't have enough. Mac and cheese is homemade and so good. Would definitely go again!

We have been searching for authentic Jamaican cuisine for quite some time with no luck. After attending Reggae Fest at Steel Stacks in Bethlehem we decided to try Cherrys. Hands down the BEST Jamaican food we have ever had outside of Jamaica. The jerk chicken was absolutely amazing! A perfect blend of heat and flavor. Speaking to the owner she said she had been closed for almost a year due to road construction on the street. I can’t recommend supporting a local business like this enough. It was a 40 minute ride for us but well worth.it We will definitely be back.

I hadn't been through Freemansburg for months...thought the construction on Main Street was at least near done--not so (It's only open to local traffic and signs say not for through traffic. You can get through but very very slowly. I do think it will take until the end of this year before it's completed...just my guess!).

It was getting near dinner time, plus the road is horrendous, so I had to go slow and I had had a long day. I knew I wouldn't feel like cooking. I spied Cherry's Caribbean right there on Main Street, and I thought: why not? The food smelled so good as I walked up to the order window. Cherry does the cooking and her son, Tony, takes care of the orders...very nice folks! I ordered oxtails for the Hubs and curried chicken for myself. Both our platters were plentiful and absolutely DELISH! IMO, the seasoning and spice were on point! Cherry's Caribbean is worth going back for more! And I will!

Exceptionally good food. Very friendly staff. The jerk chicken and pork are my favorite. Be sure to have a drink before eating because it is a tad spicy. A+
