Three of us went there on 17 October 2025 the baked potatoes were not cooked. I ordered a hamburger with cheese, bacon and a fried egg. When my burger came, the bacon was all rolled up in a ball on the edge of the burger. The fried egg that I asked for came out as a hard boiled egg cut in half placed on one on each side of the burger and the grease in a prior need to be changed because the french fries came out dark

I stayed at the Gallitzin Station Inn about 200 meters away. I ordered the Turkey Club and Railroad Tie Fries. Both were excellent! The fries had a great potato taste( no old grease infused flavor.) staff was friendly. Interior gave off the classic Pennsylvania small town vibes. It looks like Pizza was a popular choice for the diners when I walked in to get my order. Definitely recommend for low key dinner or take out. As I understand it, the kitchen closes a couple hours before the bar. Worth calling and inquiring so you don’t miss out.

Pretty typical bar. They did have some cool older decor and such, but the overall feel was like any other pub.
Not bad tho!

We stopped by after visiting Horseshoe Curve and the tunnels at Gallitzin (just down the street from this place). We got several appetizers, all good, and a beer. The server was excellent; we enjoyed talking with her and finding out a little more about the town. Lots of railroad memorabilia and other local mementos are on the walls and on display. It was fun looking around, relaxing and enjoying some down time.

Quaint neighborhood pub and eatery that could easily double as the town historical society! Enjoyed the food, an ice cold beer, and the (probably) hundred year old woodwork in the beautiful interior of this historic building. We will definitely stop again when in the area.
