Excellent atmosphere and service. The food is authentic and the drinks you couldn't ask for a better bartender. This is a spot that is small but quiet and cozy.

Parking: Small parking lot but you can usually find a spot.

Wheelchair accessibility: automatic wheel chair lift at the top of the stairs

We had a great meal last night. The atmosphere downstairs was intimate and comfortable, but upon opening the entry door at the top of the steps it smelled gross, almost outhouse-ish. Once down the steps it disappeared but entering and leaving through that area wasn't awesome. Side salad would be 5/5 if olives thrown in. Fried haddock didn't have a good layer on it- likely do baked in future. Waitress was sweet and attentive.

I have been coming here for years! It gets busy at times so it’s always good to plan on being there for a while. Everything is made from scratch by one person. It’s worth the drive from wherever you’re coming from and it’s worth the wait if they are busy.

Looking for a romantic date night? Or a nice dinner with the family? Well this is the place for you. The food is very good, made and served fresh. The waiters here are excellent. Make sure to make your reservation at least a week in advance.

Parking: There is a parking lot right across from the building.

Wheelchair accessibility: While the restaurant is located in the basement, there is a chair lift for those who need it.

If you are near Gallitzin, go here. As others have said, it is in the basement of what looks like a private residence. The entrance is on the left as you face the house. Others have also cautioned about steep steps. You should know there is a chair to take people up and down as needed. Food was great! Kitchen is right out in the open so you can see them prepare food. My wife had eggplant parmesan, she said is it was the best she ever had. Italian dressing is house made, and delicious. Italian bread is also great. A word of caution, the menu on the website is very outdated. Not everything on that menu is on the house menu, and the prices are noticeably higher. I think the prices are reasonable, just don't be surprised. Bottom line, we live 3 hours away and will make an excuse to go again.
