My wife and I were visiting PA to see sightandsound and decided to look up a place to eat. EXTREMLY grateful we found this spot. The food was incredible. Delicious and at a great price. Everyone was extremely nice as well. 10/10. Definitely coming back. Try the crab fries if they have them!

The service was prompt and very personable. My guest enjoyed their chicken pot pie tremendously: plentiful, tasty, well seasoned, and served piping hot.
I THOROUGHLY enjoyed their seafood boil: five hefty shrimp, three king crab legs, 10-12 smallish steamed clams, two small corn cobs, two good-size potatoes, all served in a rich, buttery broth that was perfectly complemented by some very tasty corn bread, once again, served piping hot.
The prices were very reasonable. Indeed, my guest looked over the menu and commented: “These prices seem so…quaint!”
All in all, a very happy discovery for us. If you are anywhere near there around lunch or dinner time, do NOT fail to stop in…you’ll be glad you did.

In September, I arranged a post-funeral lunch at The Brass Eagle following my mother's memorial service at Bellevue Presbyterian Church in Gap. Of course, we didn't have a firm idea of how many people would attend the service or how many would come to the lunch afterwards. I was stressed about this. I had several phone conversations with Jen at the Restaurant, who had dealt with such uncertainties that are inherent in post-funeral lunches before, and was able to reassure me and was generally wonderful to deal with. She accommodated my concerns about menu, bar service, seating etc. In the end, a sizeable but very manageable crowd came to the Restaurant and, thanks to Jen and the staff at the Brass Eagle, everything went very well. This was wonderful, particularly because my mother used to go to the Brass Eagle almost every Sunday after church, so it had been a very special place to her. It felt so appropriate for her friends and family to gather there after the service and reminisce about her in what had been one of her favorite restaurants.

Went downstairs on wing night. We couldn't order wings the people that work there were to busy to take orders, there were two bartenders. She literally was like no you can't order food from me. Help is hard to get and I imagine hard to keep enough people on to match the customers. We would have gotten wings if she would have taken an order. We were able to order drinks though. Maybe we will try a wing night again and actually get wings, lol. Also the lights in the back of the bar don't work so get there early enough to sit closer to the door if you do get food then you could see it.
Always good food and great service

I ordered the chicken bacon ranch quesadilla. The ingredients looked like they were just thrown into the tortilla, mostly in the middle not evenly distributed to the edges. The tortilla itself was supposed to be crispy based on the description but it was soggy and really dried out around the edge. It came with salsa and sour cream but I was thinking that it should have come with ranch...??? I think this could have came out so much better if the chef evenly distributed everything and used some butter on the griddle to properly crisp the outside of the tortilla. It just looked and tasted like nobody cares lol

Jean was wonderful!!! We had the rib/shrimp special, he had the chicken spaghetti special, and one of us had breakfast. Our rib dinner had 2 sides & pudding included! Great place to eat, restrooms were clean.

It’s really hit or miss. The lunch time food seems to be on point, dinner meals not so much. They did try to charge me $4.50 for the non existent “rocks” (ice) in my espresso martini. Hmmm…

Had a meal here last night, typical diner selections. My husband had the prime Rib, was very tasty. I had a combination seafood platter, priced according for the small size, the crab cake was tasty.
We paid the extra charge with the credit card and left a cash tip along with my husband's WALLET! He left it in the booth! Prayers whoever has it can mail it to us! Our server was a young fella, he was sweeping up to go home.
Please mail the wallet to the address on his driver's license 🙏
We will let you know if it gets returned :)
Follow up! Yes! Already! The restaurant found his wallet! Gotta love a old school, down home restaurant <3
I'd pick a place like this over any chain!
