I have been ordering from them since they cooked out of a church on Concord Pike. Tonite was/is my 43rd anniversary. it was so cute that they wrote Happy Anniversary on the top crab and on the box. it's a very caring crew.

Strong ammonia smell coming from the dozen crabs I bought for the 4th of July. I have ate crabs for nearly 30 years and the smell and taste of a couple of these crabs made me realize they were spoiled and beyond disgusting. The meat was ice cold. Mostly likely because they weren’t completely thawed from freezer. Disappointed.
I placed an order for crabs on Father's Day and the service and quality of the crabs were great! I made an error with my order and they were kind enough to fix it quickly on a busy day. We also tried the shrimp which were delicious as well! My family agrees we'll be ordering again.

Love Chesapeake Crab Company! We will take the ride to the Bethel location when crabs come into season. During the summer we are lucky enough to be 5 blocks from the Havertown location! Always delicious and highly recommend the shrimp as well.

I've spent probably $500-600 in crabs through them with few complaints. Ordered half bushel males and one dozen female for myself. Got home and the females were clearly undercooked. The different people looked at them and we all saw they were dark/still blue in many areas. Opened one and the meat was not stringy.My mom called them back and they told her "females look like that." Never in my life have I seen female crabs a completely different color--i eat them all the time!The unwillingness to own up to the undercooking left a really bad taste in my mouth. Things happen! But don't tell an avid seafood eater what their food is supposed to look like. I figured maybe all they'd do is throw in a few crabs next time? Refund? Nope.I drive an hour each way to get these crabs. I'll be getting mine shipped going forward I Guess. Hope the $25 was worth my business..
