We don't live far, and we finally came in. Our server was very nice, and the food was delicious. The owner stopped over to our table, and she was so nice to talk to. I definitely want to go back to have Uncle Leroy's shrimp and cheesy grits dish again!!

What an amazing experience!! From the atmosphere, the staff, to the food!! I don’t know what took us so long to try Willie Mae’s! The food was so delicious and full of flavor down to the kids chicken tenter made with REAL pieces of chicken! Our waiter was the perfect amount of attentive and right on with refills and taking plates away. Oh and the biscuits definitely get the biscuits 😍

This restaurant has a good homey feel. The food is so good. Comfort at its finest. The staff were really attentive and pleasant and the owner treats everyone like family. I recommend the jambalaya and the sweet tea that has mango in it. The fried shrimp and fish were really good. As well as the gumbo, Mac and cheese, fried rice and cabbage. I am from out of town but whenever I am back in the area I will come back.

Best Southern food without having to go down south. The place and location is unassuming. It has its own brewery on premises. There is also outdoor dinning, of course that is for the warmer months. Located not far from the West End Fair Grounds. Service felt personal.

Such a great place, very large portions, friendly owners and servers, great prices. Very family friendly, they have games and crayons/paper for kids, donkeys you can pet outside the restaurant (around the back). They have a vineyard and their own wines too.

We just visited Willie Mae's for the first time. The food was fantastic! My husband had the brisket Mac and cheese. I had the special, smoked Parmesan Alfredo with blackened shrimp. Both of our meals were delicious. It's nice to have a local place with great flavors.

i came here and had the seafood gumbo and it was amazing! service was great and the owner stopped by our table to make sure we were satisfied which really impressed me! if i am ever back in the area i will definitely make it a point to return :))

The biscuits? Pure Southern magic. They reminded me of my grandma’s—soft, warm, and full of love. I had the ribs with rice and mac and cheese, while my group enjoyed shrimp and grits, and BBQ chicken wings. Every bite was packed with flavor.

I'm not big on giving 5 start to anyone or anything but this place was great. Everything we got was amazing!!! Dirty tots, chicken n waffles, seafood gumbo and the fried chicken dinner. Service was great and you got a lot of food at a very reasonable price. We will definitely be coming back.
