Scratch southern food kitchen. We've had several meals here. The menu changes fairly regularly. The winter menu wasn't really aligned with our tastes, however the new May menu has lots of options for our palate.
We ordered the fried chicken meal and the lemon butter chicken. Both were a substantial portion. Definitely two meals worth. They were excellent as we've come to expect here.
They've recently added wine to the menu and the wife is much appreciative. The red was to her liking. I, on the other hand, had a non alcoholic mixed cocktail with peach and coconut. It was good.
Don't sleep on this place, but make sure you check the menu before going, less your favorite from before is no longer available.

Stopped by on a whim when we saw the sign from the road during an outting. It was a Saturday during dinner (6pm) so it was bizarre to see the place completely empty and that is a travesty. The food was AMAZING, both in taste and presentation. The server came to check on us multiple times, even the owner came out to chat with us. We promise to bring friends and family back to try their food. The atmosphere inside is wonderful too, very classy, but I could understand it not being obvious from the outside right off the road. Keep up the great work and hope business keeps them around!

Looks like a regular restaurant on the outside but when you walk in you’re transported to a cozy relaxing spot that encourages you to spend time with the people you’re with like waiting for a meal outside your grandma’s kitchen! You can tell everything is made fresh to order and the delicious smells coming from all around you make it hard to choose a dish but my favorite is the fried fish! With a flavor you won’t find anywhere else and buttery texture that just melts in your mouth. Then crème brulee for dessert 🤤 Definitely high end restaurant food at an affordable cost! And the opportunity to really unwind and spend time with your family without being rushed out is priceless!

I have passed this place countless times as I live about 3 miles away. Tonight we have it a try. Everything about this place is worthy of 5 stars. It’s a small family owned restaurant that has a very clean and cozy dining area. The menu has a great selection of food, so finding something you like shouldn’t be an issue. The service was top notch and even the owner made her rounds to all the tables. Tonight there was a steady flow of customers in and out and with one chef, the pace of the food and service was still very good. I highly recommend eating here and giving it a try, you will not be disappointed!!

Portions were great the food just lacked some flavor, the corn was spicy and the Mac didn't have much flavor and was gritty. Not sure if I will go back or not.

First time here. Disappointed. The restaurant was not that busy. We placed our order thinking everything would come out relatively quickly. Not the case. Received a cheese biscuit each. About 15 mins. later, received the appetizer. And waited for at least 30 min. for our meal (we were told it was coming out and then it was 2-3 mins because it was being plated). We gave it more than 5 mins. with no food. We paid for the appetizer and drink and left. There was a customer that was there to pick up their food and they had to wait. There was also 3 or 4 couples waiting. It was not the fault of waitress. If the kitchen was short staffed, maybe let the patrons know. Needless to say, Arby's did not disappoint. We may give the restaurant another try in a few months.
We held a repass at Willie Mae’s and are so grateful for their kindness and wonderful food. They made a difficult time, easy and we appreciate them for that!

My husband and I went last night for their Valentine’s Day dinner special. Service was quick! The atmosphere was cute and cozy. I got the seafood bisque which was spicy haha but flavorful! My husband liked his rosemary chicken orzo soup but said it needed salt (to each their own haha) the appetizers were DELICIOUS!!! Finding a good risotto is really hard but the chef knocked it out of the park!!! The bone marrow was plated on the risotto perfectly and complemented the whole plate! The fried mushrooms were amazing and the sauce they came with prompted me to buy their dry rub seasoning!!! The entrees were also sooooo good!!! My husband got the flank steak which was cooked to perfection! I got the scallop and shrimp linguine. Now the scallops and shrimp were delicious 🤤 the linguine was a bit bland until the owner brought me their seafood seasoning which made ALLLLL the difference!!! I also ended up purchasing that seasoning!! All in all 4.8/5. The owner was out greeting everyone and helping her one and only server!! I love seeing the boss help out and come out to meet their guests!!! I would 100% recommend this place and I intend on going back soon!!!!
