Love this little escape so close to the Bella Vista community. Great food, great service and always enjoy the entertainment. Wonderful option for locals in the surrounding communities.

They just reopened for the season and I’m impressed! The food has been amazing! There’s a new chef and it shows! The menu is great and has something for everyone. Very kid friendly. We’ve been going since our kids were little and running around outside. It seems like they are trying to become a fun, seasonal hang out with music planned and outdoor games! Give it a try!

Awesome historical building with friendly staff and good food. The only downside… The dining area needs to be updated and cleaned.

Edited review: Had to bump it down a few stars.
We have been going for over 15 years and this really has gone down. Can't keep good staff. Menu constantly changing.
Food is now not great and often improvised - Reuben was served on Texas toast, spring mix salad was all spinach - etc. Charged us for a double twice without us asking. Some servers don't even make eye contact!
They could do so much better - esp since they own La Massaria.

I told my friends about this restaurant with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is tasty and the crew is welcoming and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we pass a gorgeous time. highly recommended.
Positives: Old, historic building with charm, tasty wings and coconut shrimp Negatives: Horrible experience. Waitress gave us the wrong appetizer and made it seem like it was our fault - so we had to take it instead or we would have had to pay for an additional appetizer to get the one we ordered. Then when she served us the wings - we were given NO napkins or plates. We had to ask for napkins. After she got those for us she then 3 minutes later gave us 4 plates for the 6 of us to share. Although it is a nonsmoking restaurant - we smelled smoke. The waitress went out a side door, cracked the door and was smoking and on her phone. My mom's salad had moldy tomatoes on it. My daughter asked if she could just have the chicken without anything else. The waitress agreed but charged full price. Needless to say we were happy to leave.

Five of us went there for Father's day dinner. They advertise lunch and dinner but they only had salads, soups, and sandwiches. The server was nice and the food was okay but I don't think we would go back again. There was only 1 other table of people and we had to physically look for the server to get our check. It had a 4 star rating but I did not experience it as such.
Kendall Conrad was playing. Good food and nice and friendly people.
We stop in at The Markley Grille periodically on a nice summer Friday night. They usually have good live music on a small patio area. Last night our rude waitress kept walking by telling us "5 minutes and I'll get your drink order we are really busy". 15 minutes later another waitress took our drink order and then our dinner order. We waited and waited and waited along with all of the other tables. We were told they had a Wedding Tasting and were really backed up. We waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes - no appetizer - no entrees - nothing. Plenty of offers for drink refills until finally we just left. I would never wait that long, but due to the fact we were sitting outside having a nice family conversation it helped make light of the situation. Figure out what is wrong in the kitchen!
Never a bad meal or bad service. Our absolute favorite place to eat year round.
Good food, awesome staff, cozy atmosphere! Def would go back!
