We were told they were short on staff today, but still got great service, and food was good. My Dad is up from Texas so my brother, sister and I took him for breakfast.

There is a difference between quirky/ kitch and run down/worn out. Unfortunately, this place was the latter. It was clean and the waitress was pleasant even though she didn't seem familiar with the limited menu and we had to wait 10 minutes for service (despite being the only people in there). I specifically asked if there was bacon on the burger, and clearly explained I DON'T EAT BACON only to receive a greasy burger with two big slices of bacon 🤦. I broke the burger and sent it back. 10 minutes later I was served the same burger with the bacon plucked off. YUCK! The fries would have been tasty except they were SOAKED in grease. I literally tipped the plate and grease ran off DOUBLE YUCK!

We stopped in for lunch and had a great meal. I had lunch food and my husband ordered breakfast — both were really good. The service was super friendly and the place had a vintage feel. We were especially glad they were open on a Monday when a lot of places are closed. We’ll definitely be back!
