Fava Ristorante Italiano

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary at Fava and had a wonderful Italian dinner. We often order chicken or eggplant parmigiana (both are excellent at Fava!), but we decided to try something different. We started with the frittura mista, which had very lightly breaded, well-seasoned, tender large calamari rings and shrimp with some zucchini. For entrees, my wife thoroughly enjoyed the rigatoni and meatballs with a side of brussel sprouts, while I savored branzino, shrimp and blood orange risotto with asparagus. So glad we tried something new. Everything was delicious, and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. I also thank the hostess and our server for recognizing our anniversary. I think our server was disappointed we didn't have room for dessert -- I'm sure she was going to dress it up for us.

Great Happy Hour! Often see the same people dining which is nice ... a little family-like!

We went for an anniversary dinner. Our server was attentive but not intrusive. We ordered a peach martini and an espresso martini, both were very good. I ordered the Branzino and shrimp which is a house specialty. The branding was tender and tasty. There were only two shrimp on the risotto but the entire dish was delicious. My husband ordered another specialty, the roasted duck which also came with risotto. I was skeptical about the duck but it was well prepared and very good. We shared the chocolate raspberry cake for dessert. Didn't taste a lot of raspberry but the cake was moist and decadent. Will definitely return.

Took 30min to get our drinks. Service was so slow. Chicken Parm was overcooked chicken on Penne Vodka was overcooked. Bread was promised but had to remind server.

Consistently good food and excellent service. Nice music in the background. Good for both personal as well as business meetings.

Food is very good. We were there very early, around 4:30. Service was very slow, perhaps due to fact that there was a large private party in another room and it may be that the kitchen was busy readying for this. In the future, we would check to be sure that the time we plan to go would not be at the same time as a large private event.

Good food! Nice bar area. We were seated next to a large and very loud party. Our waitress was good as well.

Italian restaurant in Pennsylvania. Great atmosphere n food was good n service was good as well. 1st time there. Would done there again.

7 of us went to dinner on a Saturday night. It was crowded. We did not have to wait to be seated. Food was delicious. Service was good, just could not hear anybody at our table. Piano music was nice, but made louder. We all enjoyed the meal, drinks and dessert.

I went for lunch and the food was very flavorful and delicious. The server was very pleasant and attentive.

Very noisy, difficult to communicate with people at table. My salmon was mediocre at best which disappointed me as I have had very good experiences in the fast. Server was great but overall service was slow. Two table companions enjoyed their meals but also were disappointed in noise level.

We had a 5:30p reservation and enjoyed some delicious wines, a perfectly balanced and creamy New York Sour cocktail along with some meatballs and calamari from the Happy Hour Menu. What an amazing deal! Happy Hour prices are incredible for such high quality drinks and dishes. We ordered the beet salad and chicken walnut salad after Happy Hour ended, but again the dishes were delicious and well worth the regular price. The Bar was hopping for a Wednesday night. Our server was a friendly and professional young guy from Naples who even taught us a couple Italian words and phrases. It was a thoroughly enjoyable dinner.

I probably the best bronzino at Fava. Also their expresso martinis was made just right.

Very pleased with this pic to meet up with my brother and niece. Excellent food choices and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The host Sal was welcoming and informative on the menu with good suggestions. Very accessible for the wheelchair diner. No issues there. Would definitely go back.
