Masamoto Asian Grill & Sushi Bar

My wife and I ordered their sushi (nigiri) set with a spicy tuna roll. The sushi were some of the tiniest I’ve ever seen. The colors of the fish were dull and no shine to the fish. Very low quality fish. The spicy tuna roll was watery and lacked flavor. I will not be returning. It’s mind blowing how this place has 4.5 stars. So many better options in the area. Giving two stars because the service was decent.

Ordered take out and it was neatly packaged away in one full tray instead of a bunch of little boxes, which was appreciated. The host helped me with the pickup order and was very nice. Food overall was great and will be returning later with my family. Price is pretty reasonable for sushi as well.

Great prices, decent portion size, and fresh tasting sushi. There were plenty of different rolls on the menu, and I was pretty happy to see that there were plenty of rolls for $6-$7.

The speciality roll I had was delicious, but the regular rolls were just as good. For the price and taste, I don’t think you can beat this sushi spot.

I ordered to go, so I can only speak to the quality of the food. But I genuinely enjoyed it, very delicious stuff, I would certainly come back to try out more of the menu.

I gave a 5star review years ago and had to give a second. I have traveled all over and had lots of fish, even went to Japan!! Masamoto is hands down the best. There rolls are perfectly prepared, the fish, avocados, and just all around ingredients are always fresh. If you’re looking for excellent sushi/sashimi then this is your place. Always consistent and always delicious!

My to-go place whenever I'm in a mood for Japanese. Best quality and value for the $ you spent. Service is good, only thing is the place is very small, not that comfie to dine in.
