Came to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary. While outdoor deck seating was pleasant, service was not great and really dampened our experience. We were the only table on the deck and once our food was brought out really felt like we were abandoned. No one really came to check on us. My husband had to go inside a few times to get some help. The food was ok but it wasn't the dining experience I expected.

My husband and I were headed out for dinner the other night. We just moved to the area a few months ago and decided to go exploring Our original restaurant choice was closed for some unforeseen circumstance which made us readjust our plans. We drove down the road and came across McKenzie's. We decided to give it a try and we are definitely glad we did! We were able to get a seat at the bar after being welcomed by a friendly host. The bartender was friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered appetizers after our drinks and everything was perfect. Then the bartender told us about the club that we could sign up for and we even got one of our appetizers for free that night! We are definitely looking forward to coming back because the brews are amazing and the food is fantastic.

Had a rehearsal gathering for a wedding on Thursday. It was outside on the patio and part of the deck. Our private bar tender was unbelievable. Never stopped moving; if not making drinks, she was bussing tables and professionally interacting with the guests. We did the bar wine open bar. Awesome McKenzie draft beer. The Good Times buffet menu option was perfect for our relaxed laid back night. No one goes hungry. Food is replenished timely for 2 hours and then left out for the remainder of the event. Four hour event, three hours of beverage and food for more than two hours. If you are looking at a great casual event, look here first. I reached out to other venues but this one hit all the marks.

I went with a friend to celebrate joint birthdays. We each ordered the specials - my friend, the Fish and Chips, which were wonderful. Fish was flaky and coating crisp. I ordered the Chicken Fajita. A disappointment, as it did not contain any tomato, avocado or sour cream and was rather tasteless. It's not a regular on their menu, so no big surprise. I will stick to the burger in the future.

Wow. Talk about terrible beer. Their Route 202 NE hazy IPA is positively the worst representation of that style of beer I’ve ever had (and I get around the country). No detectable hop flavor what so ever. Food was so bland I couldn’t even eat it. Music was horrid. The outdoor seating area is quite nice as are the servers. We didn’t even bother finishing our beers.

The place is best and the food is amazing. Especially for the prices. There was a big party going on so the service was kind of running around more than they should. No big deal though! It was a great time! Will come back.

All of the staff we encountered were so friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, fresh, and flavorful.I’m not sure what was in the lemonade and the apple juice, but my kids were fairly well behaved. The TVs in the dining area were just enough to be a passive conversation piece without being a distraction to kids.

Our experience started out waiting 10 minutes with our toddler to be greeted. We ordered her buttered noodles and appetizers first. All of the food came out except the noodles, as they were last. Serving children’s food first is serving in a restaurant 101. The cod tacos tasted like something out of Gordon’s frozen fish box and my husband’s burger had microwaved bacon, burnt on the outside and med rare on the inside. The server was kind, but the service and experience was poor. We will not be returning, as this was a waste of $70.

we celebrated our daughters recital. although the menu has changed since our last occasion, all 7 of us enjoyed our meal. 2 kids , 5 adults w/drinks and all 4 desserts. great family dinner in the dining room

Both the food and service here were pretty average. Nothing distinctively great — we ordered the fries and nachos for appetizers. Fries were pretty good but the nachos were quite bare…nothing special. Overall, that sentiment carried across the other dishes as well. Nice ambience though.

First time visit. Celebrating my son's graduation. Selected for outdoor dining. Seated too close to the door used for serving. Food was ok, under seasoned and really underwhelming. Cocktails again just so so. Our server was sweet but new. Likely won't return.

All staff was courteous and friendly. Requested bar seating and the high top was pretty small and wobbly. That's my only negative. Menu has a decent amount of options. Some items are very rich, like the crab bisque. I'd recommend ordering only a cup, or you won't have room for the entree. I appreciate having quality utensils and a cloth napkin. We weren't rushed to leave after paying. Overall, a nice place for a casual dinner.

McKenzies Chadds Ford was a great place to hold my daughter-in-law’s baby shower. Sara walked me through the various options available and was very accommodating to the few requests we had. It was a beautiful day for brunch on the patio. Everyone had a great time!

First time eating at McKenzie's. We both had sandwiches, burger and French dip. Both were very good. I liked the option of a side salad instead of fries. Will eat there again.

Someone in the kitchen is an artisan. When it comes to cooking calamari and keeping it soft and pliable, or when making jambalaya and filling it with soft scallops and shrimp, this is brew-pub quality. The ambience is nice, the service is good. It's a place best for 20- and 30-somethings, but almost anyone of any age will have a good time here.
