We booked a luncheon after our son's dedication and I am so glad we chose The Crown Tavern. Zoe helped us book the event and the process was so easy and smooth! Zoe explained all the details I needed to know without making things too complicated. The lunch package we chose included so much, and the guests thoroughly enjoyed the food! Setup the day of was so easy and we had the Library area all to ourselves so it was a large enough space that also felt intimate. Would definitely recommend The Crown Tavern to others, and will for sure use them again for any future events!

The manager Cas (Cassandra) is ignorant and very unprofessional. She had a bias towards my daughter and spoke nastily about her to other coworkers. She fired her on her second day of training and used the excuse that she didn’t think she wanted to work there because she had previously asked what time do they get off. My daughter had to pick her siblings up from their grandmother’s and was just inquiring about the anticipated off time. Cas then said it was because of her pants, when everyone had on the same style pants. She then added it was because of her being on the phone, although her direct trainer was simultaneously on her phone, during a down time. After letting her go, and my 19 year old daughter leaving with grace, she told a staff member she just didn’t like her and proceeded to talk nastily about her, by name. I would hate to make it about race but with only two other AA workers there and the unwarranted firing of my AA daughter I can’t help but to think of it as the reason. My daughter has never had an issue as a server or any other job for that matter. She is kind, knowledgeable, and professional. After speaking to her on the phone to inquire about the unjust termination, she became very unprofessional very quickly which was indicative of her person and personality to me. I was looking forward to trying the food there but because of this I will not patronize this business and I suggest y’all have an inservice about professionalism, customer service, and tact before you find yourself with a lawsuit!

Our first time going since it opened. We went with another family. Very kid friendly. The food was great i definitely recommend trying their Indian inspired dishes they were fantastic and I normally wouldn't have ordered it if it wasn't for our servers recommendation. Cocktail and beer menu was also great. We had a nice family dinner and will make this our new go to spot. Very happy we stopped in.

Always a great experience! Reservation time was honored, no waiting, food was served hot with no delays, Pinot Grigio was presented in a chilled glass. What's not to love! Thank you to The Crown for a lovely evening, cheers! Reservations are highly recommended, this hidden gem is becoming more and more popular, not surprised!

First time to Crown Tavern. Went with friends. Wanted fish and chips - they were great and totally enjoyed the amazing spinach and feta hummus appetizer too! We will definitely visit again!!

The soho nachos were great, you can tell the tortillas are made in house! Service was okay, the server was nice and polite. Our entrees were too salty. We both got the bangers and mash. The gravy, mashed potatoes, and kale were too salty. The dessert was good but a little. The lemon olive oil cake comes with salted butter on the plate. If you eat the cake with just the strawberries it tastes better.

MEH FOOD. WORSE SERVICE AND NON PREDICTABLE TIMES FOR KITCHEN AND CLOSEGoogle listing says 11 pm for kitchen and 1 am close. When we.git there, they stopped food at 10:12 pm and last call at 11:26 pm.Food was over priced and the menu was limited. 14$ for devil eggs. The bartender could not be bothered, since she was cleaning up to go home early.Hard to justify a trip here when they don't honor their commitments. My friend hadn't eaten, and if we had waited a bit longer before coming she would have gone without.
Came here with an old friend last weekend for an early dinner and the reception was very odd. Upon entering I was told by front of house that we could be seated only if we agreed to LEAVE by a specific time which, of course, is a rather graceless and unprofessional way to greet a guest. After we were seated I ordered the fish and chips and some oysters, both of which were good, but nothing exceptional. The service was efficient and timely, but certainly not warm or friendly. Most notably, however, the next day both my friend and I became violently ill with stomach issues which were almost certainly from our meals here. The only thing we shared were the oysters and as such I suggest you steer well clear of them! Based on my symptoms and the scenario my doctor has suggested we were likely exposed to SALMONELLA. In addition, have a look at the rote response from the owner as it is indicative of the level of apathy toward service (and safety) found here.

I threw my sister a 50th Birthday Party at the Crown and we had a fabulous time. We reserved the Wine Cellar. The food was delicious, the room was spacious, the service was attentive and thoughtful. Two thumbs up. We'll definitely reserve various spaces for future events.

I have been here more times in the last 3 months than I can count. Everything I have had has been delicious. You can’t beat their Happy Hour as it has awesome selections with great pricing. Not to mention it’s 7 days a week and offered throughout the entire restaurant, not just the bar.
