Wonderful service, peaceful and food excellent. Server was impressive and polite. Enjoy the different setting areas of the restaurant. Menu for lunch had both chicken, beef and limited seafood, but good choices for lunch menu. Dessert was excellent.

This restaurant was absolutely amazing and checks all the boxes. Our server, Jo was pleasant, attentive to little details separating ice for my bourbon. The chef, Larry came out and checked on us a couple of times and gave us a little tour around the restaurant. The fillet and the Bluepoint oysters are some of the best I've ever had delicious. The ambience from the old decor and the photos were very cool and a nice touch. You pay for what you get and the meal to some may be expensive, but I thought the five course price was just right this will become a staple for me and my wife to come have dinner. I recommend this restaurant for anybody who wants to be pampered and get a bang for your buck excellent restaurant.

you may not love everything on the menu, but it is at least average to above average, even if you don't like it an excellent if it's a dish that you gravitate towards. I find they have excellent cocktails, and I just love some of the items on their menu. If you go often enough, you will get to know the servers and they will get to know you. The best rooms to sit in, in my opinion, are the sunken room that's at the back of the main dining room, and the Tavern. I haven't ever sat out on the patio, but it looks cute. I would worn against sitting in the dining room because the piano can be loud. I also don't like the big back room that's closest to the street, that's where they'll have bigger gatherings but compared to the other rooms, that room feels a bit more sterile. But this is seriously my favorite restaurant when I'm visiting my family in Southern Pennsylvania.

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Table 1837 and had a wonderful experience. The ambience and service were excellent, and the food was outstanding. As vegetarians with dietary restrictions, we were so impressed that the chef personally came to our table to discuss options and create dishes to fit our needs. They even went above and beyond for our kids—offering chocolate milk (not on the menu) and bringing syrup to sweeten drinks just the way they liked. Truly thoughtful hospitality and a memorable evening. Highly recommend!

I didn't know what to expect, but have been meaning to try this place for years. The wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our anniversary was shared by all the staff, including the chef who paid us a visit. The portions were large, considering that they were designed around a five course affair. Table 1837 has all the ambience of a high-end Baltimore or Hunt Valley steakhouse, without the usual snobbery. The live piano player was an especially nice treat. The restaurant is beautiful, the service superb and the food was delicious.

Service and food were exceptional! Highly recommend... 10/10! The lobster and crab bisque was the most delicious soup I've ever had! It was elegantly presented and had huge chunks of lobster and crab meat. Every aspect of our experience was top notch. Highly recommend!

Jason was awesome, all his recommendations were spot on! The pineapple upside down cheesecake was a top 10 dessert I've ever had. We will be coming back many times!

Opentable Diner

Sat at the bar to eat - friendly bartender and solid drinks and service was very good - I like the setting and ambience - a unique , rustic , romantic setting without being tooooo much - food was very good - I'm not one to complain about prices and happily pay whatever , as I understand food costs are high and margins are thin . That said , the dishes and drinks are pretty expensive (Like New York City expensive) so just be aware of that going in . I rated value 3/5 for that. However , I felt that the dishes were high quality , very tasty , and worthy of a higher price point than normal for this area. More of a “heads up” to anyone going there and expecting a $39 filet mignon or a $9 glass of wine or margarita. Bottom line for me is that this is a place that I will come back to , that the quality of food and service is high , and the setting is very nice. Pricey but happy to pay it in order to keep this gem in business and keep their quality of food and service at a high level. Cheers !

If you're looking for a unique place serving unique food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere, I highly recommend Table 1837!! Live piano player playing in the background. Always excellent service. And fantastic, fresh cocktails! The food is refined, elegant and delicious! The outdoor courtyard seating area is our favorite in spring and fall! Would love to hear some live music out there while dining.

It is always nice to be greeted by the owner Brandon and his staff. The champagne brunch did not disappoint! The selections were varied with something for everyone in our group. The ham was amazing, the omelet was perfect as always. The asparagus soup was delicious. Wanda our server was very friendly and perfect. We will be going back for the brunch as well as the high tea service.
