Babalouie BBQ truck was at work for lunch yesterday. The brisket sandwich is out of this world delicious and the portion was generous enough to have leftovers the next day.

Not good. The coleslaw has no flavor. And the baked beans tasted burnt. Also, they only had meat balls, but i expected that based on crowd. Still, a good business owner would anticipate having enough of a selection for a larger crowd. No? Anyway, the guy who was working the counter wasn't going to ask me if I wanted cheese, though he asked thoes before and after my order. Not sure why my money isn't any good. And I still left them a 22% tip! Shame on me I guess. Over all, I would 100 percent avoid anything to do with this shitty food and service. Good luck!

Of course the smoked meats are fabulous but I have to give a shout out to the sides! Smoky sweet spicy carrots, kickin coleslaw, homemade baked beans, and truly some of the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever tasted! Super friendly service.
Personally I don't like the Ribs because it tastes like oven baked not True Barbecue. The sides are definitely delicious except the Greens is a little too Greasy for me. Staff and owner are great people and I'll be back when the food is cooked outside on a Grill, like Big Grill Barbecue on Wadsworth Avenue. When I have time I'm going to Barbecue some Ribs and give some to these Rib places so they can taste what REAL BARBECUE SUPPOSE TO TASTE LIKE!!!

Just had the best thanksgiving meal I’ve ever eaten and my family would kill me for saying this. From the brisket to the corn bread to the stuffing to the Mac n chs to the mashed potatoes! Every bite was incredible. I’m food high right now. That was like fine dining thanksgiving style. Wow. Thank you. See you at X-mas

I had to give a shout out to Babalouie! My girlfriend and I go there for the barbecue and it’s absolutely amazing! This past November we had the Thanksgiving menu and it was incredible too. I’m no food expert but I worked at barbecue restaurant for years and sampled a lot while on tour. Babalouie is the best I’ve ever had! I wish them nothing but good things!

I’m sorry but I assumed I would need at least the salt and pepper shaker out when we sat down to eat your thanksgiving spread. I was so wrong! Everything was seasoned to perfection and I over ate just to chase the taste of that delicious brisket, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese and the stuffing…don’t get me started on that cornbread. Could anyone even cook in my family growing up?! You got me doubting it. What an amazing meal. Can’t wait to see the Christmas menu. Babalouie is a new tradition in this house. Thanks so much!

Had the brisket platter at the Glenside Food Truck event yesterday. Sides of collards and Cole slaw. Delicious! I assumed the cole slaw would be creamy but pleasantly surprised -and happy- that it was the creamy style. Maybe the menu explained that but I stopped at Cole slaw. Will definitely be having the brisket again!
We ordered barbecue for a family gathering this past weekend. Brooks, the pitmaster, was very responsive when placing my order. He was super helpful in discussing the menu. When my husband went to pick up the food, he mentioned that it was obvious that Brooks was training, a new employee. He was very impressed at what he observed. The food was well packaged, everything was delicious. The coleslaw was a bit spicy for me, but everyone else loved it. Great experience.

I got their bbq from their food truck when it was at odd logic brewery. Their BBQ is top notch. It is so good. I got the brisket pulled pork and ribs. Everything was perfectly smoked. No BBQ sauce needed for anything!!!!

The brisket sandwich was phenomenal!! It literally melts in your mouth. The Jalepeno bombers, Mac n cheese and pulled pork are just as amazing as the brisket. Best BBQ I ever had!!
