Very homey atmosphere with nice bartenders. The beer was well priced and there was a lot of variety among the draft picks. It was a little loud and crowded inside and outside, but that’s to be expected. The lighting was a bit bright and didn’t make for a cozy place, but overall Bills was great! I’d go back again.
First visit was during the areas St Patrick's Day parade which was bad timing. They were overwhelmed with customers and under staffed. Brews were fine but the pour on their signature stout was disappointing.
We enjoyed the food and craft beer at Bill’s. The Last Resort Imperial Porter did not disappoint and the food from Moshava food truck greatly exceeded expectations! I’m still thinking of the roasted brussels sprouts with lemon yogurt sauce and hoping to be able to re-create them so that I don’t have to chase down Moshava all over Philadelphia! However, being realistic, I’m sure I can’t make them anywhere near as good. For the main dish, I got the pita with eggplant because...
