I went to CJ‘s let’s just say it was well worth it. I got the funnel cake fries with butter, pecan ice cream and blueberry cheesecake so delicious as well. I tasted the mango water ice and banana water ice and also delicious. I definitely will be returning.. I can’t forget to mention customer service was amazing.

My staff and I had lunch . We then stumbled upon cj sweet palace. What a delightful experience. We met the courteous owner. The icecream was delectable, so savory. We sampled some of the best home made water ice. What a beautiful moment.

I came here trying to support. Their prices are outrageous. They give you one scoop for almost $6 bucks. And the water ice is extremely sweet. I’m so disappointed.

Blame the 9-year-old… and now we’re addicted.
So here’s how it happened: our 9-year-old was messing around on Google Maps like she was on a treasure hunt, and suddenly yells, “There’s an ice cream palace in Glenside!” Naturally, we assumed she was exaggerating. She wasn’t.
C.J.’s Sweet Palace is exactly what it sounds like—a royal court of frozen delights. The second we walked in, we were greeted like long-lost family (the kind that brings dessert to every function).
Here’s what we ended up with (don’t judge):
A single scoop of birthday cake & double scoop of blueberry cheesecake ice cream that tasted like someone blended up Grandma’s best Sunday dessert and turned it into frozen gold.
A cookies and cream milkshake that had me contemplating a second mortgage just to fund more visits.
One scoop of cotton candy ice cream (our daughter’s choice—she said it tasted like “a unicorn’s birthday party”)
And a strawberry, vanilla, chocolate sundae that honestly made us consider whether we were living right before this moment
The staff was so sweet and patient, even when we couldn’t decide and kept asking for “just one more sample.” The vibe was fun, welcoming, and totally family-approved.
If you’ve got kids, or you just act like one when it comes to dessert (guilty), this place is a must. Seriously, our only regret is not ordering a to-go freezer.

Slow service to be the only one in there. Milkshake cup not filled, broken hot dog rolls. So bad to be my first time there.
Big CJ is very friendly. We are glad that we don't have to drive all the way to the city for homemade water ice. All the flavors are delicious, esp the tropical flavors! Family favs: strawberry lemonade, passionfruit, and tangerine.

Driving by and I saw CJ’s water and I had to try it! I’m glad I did! CJ had a water ice flavor that no other water ice spot has and that’s Green Apple! My wife was in love since that’s her favorite.

**ATTENTION if you have a sweet tooth 🦷 🍧🍨** I wanted to give a shoutout to a local Ice cream/water Ice shop in Glenside that I am super late to discovering! I discovered CJ’s Sweet Palace this week on Easton Road and OH my goodness! The Ice Cream is Bassetts and their water ice is all made in house and is delicious (passion fruit is 🤤). The best part was the customer service provided by the owners CJ himself and the lovely Ms. Janelle. They are partners in their business and welcomed my group into their shop with open arms, chatted with us about life and even checked up on us outside after serving us and even brought us water bottles because it was so hot outside. The product and service were absolutely above and beyond and I would highly recommend to the neighborhood especially if you have kiddos, great family vibe! Enjoy!!
