Dreams Ice Cream at Glenside

My family & I stopped while out of town for ice cream. It was a great experience & the gentleman was patient with our choices/request! Everything was great from the ice cream to the cheesecake to the banana pudding! We ate it so fast that we didn't even think about pictures!

Not from the area so maybe this would be considered a staple, but to me it felt like a true hidden gem. Excellent service, great quality icecream... I will absolutely be returning.

Unassuming store from with poor signage, on a side street with some street parking as well as free in the lot. See pictures.
First off, I will address the ice cream.
And to give you my background, I also make my own ice cream from scratch using only basic ingredients.
I purchased two flavors, blueberry cheesecake and Cappuccino crunch.
If you are wondering about costs, it’s expensive, but too taste it is to understand why it’s expensive. You’re not eating Hagen Das, you are eating something even better. Now, I’m by no means able to purchase $4+ for a scoop of ice cream on my budget, but I’ve heard about this place and decided, what the heck, I have splurged before, and so this month, I’ll do it again.
Creamy taste, no freezer burn, no ice crystals, just plain great tasting ice cream. I understand the cost associated with making ice cream as homemade, was costing me ~$6/pint.
Go here for the ice cream and don’t be put-off by the decor.
This place badly needs a makeover, as inside, is not very pleasant to look at and is just rundown.
Judge this place based on the ice cream and you’ll be a happy camper.

This place was amazingly overwhelming!!
They had soooooo many different ice cream flavors to choose from. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever seen an ice cream menu that long..
I ended up sticking to my usual strawberry cheesecake in a waffle cone. It did not disappoint, I was very pleased. However, I got a sweet potato cheesecake to take home and OMG it was sooooo good! I can’t wait to go back for another one. I will absolutely be back again!

Went for the first time with the family. Service 10 out of 10. So many flavors to choose from. Staff was amazing - absolutely going back. A hidden gem

I’ve been coming here for a very long time and it has always been the best ice cream with the best service. I’ve had so many memories here and I plan to have many more; it is truly a Glenside staple.

this is exactly what you want out of an ice cream shop. many great flavors, and the people are so so nice
