Elia Greek Authentic Cuisine

My family and I went here for dinner. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. We started off with side greek salads which were very fresh and delicious. I had the branzino with fresh spinach and lemon potatoes. Excellent! There was so much food I couldn't finish it all. One of my granddaughters tore through her lasagna because she said it was really good lol. Not one complaint to be had. It's a small place but able to accommodate our party of nine comfortably. Our server was very pleasant. She brought out my baklava with a candle and started singing happy birthday to me! This was my first time here. My daughter and her fiance loved it enough to come back and suggest we celebrate here. It was a good suggestion!

I really do not like to give 5 stars, but couldn't think of a reason to score any of these any lower. Our food was excellent, and the couple we invited to join us agreed. Service was amazing. The place is cozy, clean, and quiet. Beautiful Greek music played in the background to elevate the mood. The lamb was perfectly cooked and seasoned, the lemon potatos were packed with flavor, and the salad was delicious. I ordered the mixed grill, our friends ordered souvkaki. We will be going back again. This will be my go to dining spot when we are in Glenside for a show at the Keswick or the House of Magic.

If you're looking for an authentic Greek food experience in Philadelphia, you don't have many options but Elia. Real Greek food cooked correctly. Amazing gemista, great moussaka, perfect service, with the right kind of vibe with the type of Greek music you hear in Greece and the patio looks like it was transferred from an old restaurant in Greece to Philadelphia. It's a whole experience. You MUST try it if you're into Greek food. Also as a bonus point, there are vegetarian and vegan versions of traditional Greek food like vegan gyros, vegetarian moussaka, etc.

This is my one of my new favorite spots in the area! The service was great! They were very helpful and pleasant to chat with. It was very cozy inside and not too loud. The food was amazing! Everything we ordered was phenomenal. I recommend the lemon roasted potatoes and any dish with feta. I will be coming back very soon!

I recently dined at Elia’s Greek restaurant in the Keswick Village of Glenside. It is a lovely Greek restaurant and had an amazing experience. I tried the stuffed haddock with lemon potatoes and the house salad which were absolutely delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the presentation was spot on the service was top-notch especially thanks to Barb who made us feel right at home with her quick wit and warm hospitality. The owner’s Jimmy and Sophia truly run a fantastic establishment. I highly recommend Elia’s.

I truly loved my beef/lamb gyro. However the lemon potatoes had a favor that was so delicious. Barbara was an excellent host.

Took a party of 11 to dinner on 6/7/2025. We had the best experience EVER. Barbara our waitress made the entire experience exemplary. The food was fresh and delicious. Can't wait to try more of their specials!!! Do yourself a favor and make a reservation to sit in Barbara's section, she will make your evening even more remarkable and memorable. Well done Everyone
