I used to go here all the time since the 1980s. Since Lew’s have come under new ownership they have poor quality food. There is someone named Lucy there that takes orders and actually tells people not to come back if you complain about the food being overcooked. The customer service has deteriorated tremendously. I am deeply disappointed……

Used to come to the restaurant when it was a part of Lew's. The options are limited. I was hoping to have a seafood and pasta option. However, this was not an option. I had the stuffed shrimp and a side baked potato. The hubs had fried shrimp and French fries.

I’ve been ordering here off and on since 2014. The food has certainly been hit or miss over the years but most recently it seems there has been an improvement. Not sure if someone was recently hired or someone new is doing the cooking but it was definitely better this most recent visit. One thing that hasn’t changed in the 10 years I’ve been coming here, no one ever smiles or looks like they want to be there. I get it, you’re not thrilled about your job but come on guys, it’s like walking into a funeral home every time you go pickup food. Just seems odd to have miserable staff as the face of your business.

This is an excellent take out seafood place, large group orders are no problem. Excellent service , just enjoyable altogether.

I'm from the Philly Suburbs originally. When I go home to visit I make a point to stop in Lew's. They recently updated their awning so it now has "Public House" in larger letters larger than "Lew's" so I temporarily panicked that it might have changed owners. Fortunately its still the same. If you like a nice cold beer and fresh seafood this is a great casual spot.
