Best nachos I’ve ever had!!! Love this place all I needed was the nachos with a friend and we got the small!!! I will for sure be coming back again!
First time visiting. Nice place to eat. Loved the nachos with beef, beef was well done. Service was great too. Music was great and relaxing.Definitely will go back again.
The nachos which is supposed to be their thing are terrible to be honest. They put to much stuff on it and makes the chips and everything just soggy and inedible. Have ordered 3 times now and it's always the same. Sometimes less is more and would make them so much better. Taco bell has better nachos.
I want to establish that Pinto is one of my favorite places to get nachos however yesterday they were not good. I usually get the Spot Nachos with red chicken. My first issue was that the chicken was bland and it had bones in it! It looked like they made the nachos and then forgot that I ordered chicken nachos and they dumped a pile of chicken on the top. The worst and most surprising issue I had was that the salsa they usually serve on today was not it. It was Frank's hot sauce, they gave me Frank's hot sauce! I ended up throwing the nachos away, which was unfortunate because I paid almost $30 bucks. I don't know if they had an off night, but they were not good.
Get the nachos. Any of them. This is my fourth time getting nachos fromPinto. Every time the ingredients are freshly (and perfectly) cooked, the chips are crispy, and the sides give you enough variation in each bite to make you want to finish the entire thing. A small? More like four portions of evenly layered, well-seasoned, FLAVORFUL bites of bliss.Nachos aren’t all they do, but it’s definitely the best of what they do. Takeout is a pizza box FULL of feel good food.If you’re reading this review and deciding whether to order or go here or not or what to get, get this, go here. You’ll love it.
Place is awesome. The food there is prepared extremely well and it tastes great. I loved the greeting I recieved and felt right at home the moment I walked in. I recommend the place big time. This isn't a Mexican place but is southwestern inspired. I love it. Will be returning soon!
Very good food. The menu has a wide range of options including vegan and vegetarian dishes. I had the fish tacos which were very good. The nachos are also fantastic and the portions are great especially for the price. Would definitely reccomend!
Went to a few of their "Pintos Upstairs" nights elegant nights and was blown away each time. I love the owner Shannon and her "drink chef" Abby who makes wonderful, delicious and interestingly complex concoctions who also tell family stories with each course. Count on dining if you go to one of these 5 course nights. You'll be there from at least 6:30 until 9pm (that's not a bad thing; you just need to be prepared for that kind of meal). They're also very accommodating for one of my kids who is anaphylactic to dairy. They have dairy free cheese alternatives. It's wonderful and so are the owners who take great care and pride in what they serve.
Pretty great spot! Good options, and everything is always yummy. The portions are worth the $$ because you can get two meals out of it. Vegan options are great! All staff is so friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so fun and great! I just wish they would pick wether they will carry vegan sour cream or not! They used to and now it's almost always out of stock. I've never had Arizona Mexican before and it is so unique and good! Even met the owners once and they are lovely as well.
Great little spot. BYOB to add to the "mock tails". Huge portions. Very tasty. My beef tacos were great, hubby had a chimmi (fried burrito. Our friends that accompanied us are vegan and Pinto had a full menu of food subs. The street corn was quite spicy and soo good.Good service very relaxing and quite enjoyable.

Clean, pleasant little place.About half full when I got there. Walked in and the guy at the counter says "Door Dash"?Well, no, I just want to get some dinner.Tried to order tamales, they're out. Ok. Ordered a burrito and street corn, sat at a table. I looked at the large menu board and saw they had both a large and small portion of guacamole $6/12. Went back to the desk and asked for a small guacamole - no, sorry, we don't do that. I pointed at the board showing they did, and got told "Yeah, that's out of date."Maybe ten minutes goes by and the counter person comes over with a takeout order and drops it on the table in front of me. Ok... everyone else sitting down has plates and silverware, but whatever. There's no fork or knife in the bag, so I had to ask for it them too.The burrito was nicely put together and good sized. It had nice flavors but needed a little more punch - I found myself wishing for salsa or hot sauce. The street corn wasn't the nice crema elote mess you'd expect. It was a single cob cut in half, and rolled in what tasted like straight chili powder.$15 is a lot for a pork burrito with no sides. Between the price and the lack of courtesy, I would recommend other area places.
A small spot- very easy to pass by if you're not paying attention. My black bean quesadilla was good- the seitan addition was very unique and smokey. The inside is new, but there is limited seating downstairs. Our server was very attentive :). Be aware that this is a BYOB establishment and no alcohol is served on the premises.
To be honest, I originally thought this place was Mexican until I read it’s southwestern inspired.Because it is NOT Mexican. It’s super American. Our Baja tacos were sweet for some reason and no Mexican flare at all. A bit unseasoned. While there, many people came for the nachos to go & dine in. So I would probably go back & try the nachos.Overall, if you’re looking for Mexican food…this is not it. The flavors aren’t right and the food isn’t seasoned. If you’re looking for American “Mexican” food…sure. You’ll enjoy. The queso was okay…the chips and cheese were laughable. So much potential here. The workers were cute honestly. Super friendly. I would definitely try again.
I rode by like many in this busy street and wondered if anything special is going on in there. Today I ordered and was blown away!I ordered the Hwy nachos with pork and and taquitos. Both were by far the best I’ve ever had. The attention to detail was not missed on me and my wife. This wasn’t a mess of nachos covered with a bunch of stuff and hidden under flavorless cheese. This was succulent pork and roasted corn pinto bean and chili sauce with just the right amount of quality cheese that made every bite both crunchy and meaty and cheesy. The homemade sauces were special and enhanced every bite.Taquitos were absolutely fabulous. The servings size for the “small” amount as enough to feed 4 at least. I’m going back for the crazy sounding nacho hot dog dish very soon. You can eat in but I took out. Next time I will eat in since the smell inside was intoxicatingly delicious. Not what u would expect. So much more!! Great food done with love and it tasted like that in every bite!! Be back soon.
Upstairs at Pinto is the premier spot for unique dining in Glenside! I attended their Vegan dinner as a non Vegan and was blown away by the thoughtfulness and creativity behind the menu and the course paired cocktails. The owners and their mixologist go out of their way to create a truly unique experience each month! Get on the waiting list because you don't want to miss these dinners!
