This brewpub was great, food was overall vey good. I do love the interior layout and the beer selection was solid. The service here is great, the young ladies who sat us and waited on us were fantastic, professional and very polite. I was however disappointed on the beet salad we ordered. As a chef and former cheesemonger my biggest issue would be that it says on the menu, Oven Roasted Beets and Midnight Moon Goat cheese, however the beets we got were clearly canned and the cheese was barely there. Given the price point on the salad, which makes sense for fresh beets, I felt it was a little deceiving, and I know Midnight Moon is $29.99 a pound but a tiny light dusting of it is all we got.

The food is delicious! I had a burger and it was the best burger I have ever eaten. The place has a nice vibe and again the quality of the food is excellent!

This is a gem here in the suburbs, food is always fresh and delicious and the rotating beer menu is great. Sad to see their 5th Anniversary brew gone. Drink prices are reasonable, especially for sourcing so much of the bar locally. The pork taco fried rice, loaded nachos, and smoked hot wings are all 10/10 items on the menu. I have also tried their meatball sliders, watermelon salad, and cornflake chicken which were also tasty, but did not knock my socks off in the way the pork taco fried rice does. The homemade dipping sauces are great, too. Serving sizes are pretty generous.

The vibe is very relaxed and eclectic, lots of warm carved wooden fixtures, some plants, little figurines in the bar shelves, and the restrooms have framed comic book collages. The outdoor seating is comfortable and offers a fun view of the SEPTA bridge. The staff are friendly and attentive. There are regular nights for trivia and music, if that is your sort of thing. The Ways is really a special spot and I am glad to have them here in the neighborhood!

Chicken Tinga Rice Bowls are my favorite here. The beer is super tasty and one of the owners, Tim is friendly and knowledgeable. Wait time can be long when they are understaffed. The interior is always clean and well maintained. They have live music and trivia on occasion as well.

We haven’t been to the Ways in quite some time. It was one of our favorite places to sit at the bar, and have a burger and fries. We went Friday night, it was surprisingly quiet. We sat at the bar, there were two or three other people also sitting there. The bartender said he’d be right with us…but it was almost 10 mins before we were given menus. We had a drink, our glasses sat empty for more then 10 mins before he no although he walked by us several times. But that didn’t bother us as much as our food. Our burgers and fries came out, the fries were so salty we could barely eat them, the first couple bites of the burger tasted good but then the salt became so strong. Neither one of us could eat more than half of it. They didn’t question us when they took our nearly full plates away.
We were on our way to a show or we may have complained or ask to speak to someone.
We will not return.

I really love the ways it's a great restaurant. The staff is always very friendly. I feel I should comment on why I only gave them three stars for food. The food at ways is high quality however the reason I gave it three stars is because it's very heavy heavy on smokey flavors heavy on well really just having on smokey flavors. I've had their normal wings and they're okay but in my mind they're a little overspiced. Now having said all that the food that they make that I like I really enjoy. I love their ways chicken sandwich. It sells out a lot but it's a it's a great sandwich. So my reason for giving it three stars as opposed to four or five is simply because it doesn't appeal to my tastes. However having seen so many people there enjoying this food obviously it appeals to a lot of other people.

I love the ways. They always had my three favorite types of beer, IPAs, sours, and stouts. Cocktails are on point and service is fantastic. In the summer time the outdoor area is a wonderful spot to stop at.

Food was outrageously good!! Great vibes and we even brought our dog and the staff absolutely loved him. The chef even cooked up a burger special for him which Joker was a huge fan of!

I have wrestled with whether I should post anything about the experience I had with the ways, but in an effort to save someone else the frustration I am experiencing, I decided to post. We used to frequent the Ways 1-2 times a week for dinner for the last 2 years, and so I had contacted the owner Tim about using their beer van at my wedding this September. After discussing options, he asked if I would reach out to him this Summer to discuss further. I asked him to reserve the van and jockey box as I wasn’t sure what would be the best option. He said it was no problem, and that he had added it to his calendar so that he wouldn’t forget the date. I reached out to him this past week, excited to discuss beer options. I was told the jockey box was still available, but he had a festival the same day as our wedding and the van is being used. I questioned that, as I asked him to reserve it back in July 2024 which he confirmed was on the calendar. He said the festival was not scheduled at that time and he makes thousands and cannot cancel. Stunningly the offer made to correct this was that we could hire someone else’s beer truck, and still sell his beer after reneging on our reservation for the truck. So just beware that if you reach out to hire them for an event, you may or may not get what was agreed upon almost a year earlier and be left scrambling for other options.

Cute little place. Wheelchair accessible! Was seated right away. Food took a while. The service was decent. The place is what you would expect for a bar/restaurant. I’m a vegetarian and was very disappointed that they were out of pretty much every vegetarian option. I settled for Some fries. They were crispy and tasted good, but were definitely over salted. This place would be good in a pinch if you’re in the area and hungry, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here again.
