I ordered the buttermilk pancakes and OJ. The pancakes were fantastic, some of the best I’ve ever had. If they get authentic maple syrup and not smuckers pre-packaged containers I’ll give them five stars. I’ll definitely be back.

The overall vibe here just isn’t welcoming. Service feels cold and uninterested, which makes for an uncomfortable dining experience. Definitely not the kind of place I’d recommend if you’re looking to feel valued as a guest.
We came in on Friday morning, May 16th — I was with my dad and sister, who were visiting from out of town. From the moment we arrived, the vibe just felt off. The hostess seemed annoyed to be helping us, especially when we asked to sit outside. It felt like we were inconveniencing her.
We were also trying to figure out where to place my infant baby, and once we settled on a spot that wasn’t in the way, the hostess made us move him — not because it was unsafe or blocked anything, but just to move him from one side to another. It didn’t feel accommodating — it felt like we were expected to adjust to her mood.
The server’s attitude wasn't friendly. She seemed flat-out rude — cold, short, and clearly uninterested in engaging. When my dad asked about the daily special, she gave the bare minimum of an answer with zero enthusiasm or helpfulness. The whole interaction just felt uncomfortable and awkward.
And honestly, this isn’t the first time — we’ve been in a few times, hoping for a better experience, but it’s been consistent. The staff — both host and servers — just come across as unfriendly and disinterested. That’s ultimately why I left the review.

Country Deli is hands down one of the best hidden gems in Media, PA! Every time we stop by, we are greeted with a warm welcome and top-notch service that makes me feel right at home. Their menu is packed with delicious, homemade dishes, and you can taste the quality in every bite.
Their breakfast is unbeatable—fluffy omelets, crispy home fries, and the French toast muffins are a must-try! And for lunch, their sandwiches are stacked high with fresh ingredients (the Reuben is a personal favorite). The portions are generous, the prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.
You can tell this place takes pride in what they do, and it’s no surprise they’ve been around for so long. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Country Deli is a must-visit spot. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed our unexpected drop in at this place. We have passed it so many times over the years but never knew it was there! Very unique and authentic place and delicious homemade breakfast with fluffy mouthwatering pancakes, superb fries and friendly staff. It feels like home! We will definitely be back. Antique shop next door is a must to visit, especially during the holidays for cute gifts.

Love this place! Just wish they did a better job of getting customers seated, I walked in with my father whom is unable to walk. Just trying to put my name in for a seat and was blocked by two women. I repeatedly said excuse me, with no response. A server and person at the counter staring right at me! No help no nothing just said I need to wait? I just wanted to give my name. We're not coming here anytime soon.
