Last night we had a group of 7 in town for a wedding come in to try this place. The service was fantastic it was great to meet Ace as he runs this place by himself. The brisket was tender and had a great smoke on it. The fries were fresh cut and on point as were the wings. The pulled pork got great reviews also from our group. If your in the Grantville area for any reason hit this place up you won’t be disappointed

Was expecting more. Was not impressed at all from our experience. The owner was really nice. Inside could use a deep cleaning. The food itself wasn't that great. The pulled pork was too fatty. The bbq chicken seemed like it was boiled. The bbq sauce was a ketchup mixture with seasonings. The mac and cheese was unedible, no flavor and very mushy. The wings were actually good. Not sure why some others raved about this bbq place. Our bill for 2 platters and 12 wings and a drink was over $80.

We got the fried ribs, chicken wings and pulled chicken with beans and mac n cheese. All of them were great! The portions are huge. We have many leftovers for tomorrow’s travel. The owner is a pleasant man, very personable and will just chill with you if he isn’t busy. If you have a dog, he’ll give you a shoulder bone for your dog. Feeds humans and people. We found them through Harvest Host and we stayed overnight with our camper overnight. We marked this as one we want to remember.

The food was delicious.😃 the owner was so nice😁they served the food quickly, and they were flexible to my request🙂 I highly recommend going there. The owner was so friendly and he showed us the food truck they’re planning on redoing. He talked to us for a while. The bbq they made was so delicious and they modified it for me so I would like it (I’m a picky eater) they served the food quickly and didn’t mess anything up.(written by an eleven year old) 😉😊🙂😃😁
PS- my 8 year old son said he has a new favorite restaurant… he told the owner he “could taste the work he put into the food,” which made his day. Highly recommended.

Had pulled pork and fries. $15. Pork was tender and delicious. Bun was fresh and buttery. Ace is a one man show who delivers a great meal for a reasonable price. As a southerner passing through, this is some really well done BBQ. Worth the stop.

Staying in town for a tournament, came in tired and hungry. BBQ was delicious. Really took me back to trips south in TN and Texas. Great spot, Ace was very attentive and checked on us several times. Highly recommend.

This is a no-frills bbq place with convenient highway access. The service and food were both excellent. It’s the sort of place where they have what they have in terms of food—some menu options had run out or weren’t made, but the ribs and pulled pork were both great (best I’ve had in the northern US).

Ace serves certified bangers only! The bbq chicken falls off the bone, the corn on the cob is locally sourced from a farm down the street, and the Mac and Cheese is a culinary achievement. A gem of a spot for sure 🔥 only lacking pictures because we were too busy wolfing it all down to remember to take any!
