Course was in great shape
If I could I would leave this establishment a zero star review. Today a group of 9 golfers, 3 tee times, were followed by a course ranger for the entirety of front 9. Were approached twice, for slow pace, yet could not play in front because of the course overbooking tee times. Golf is supposed to be a leisure activity, welcoming of all ages, yet this golf course did not prioritize customer experience or manage its bookings appropriately. The staff was unprofessional, and the atmosphere was anything but relaxing. I will never return and would not recommend this course to anyone looking for a pleasant day of golf.
Love the course. But always overbooked, pace of play is soo slow. 12 holes in 3.5 hrs
Played here yesterday, nothing to complain about. Very relaxed atmosphere, pro shop guy was cool, range right next to the first tee. The course has a good variety of holes, some very challenging, some on the easier side. Conditions were perfect and the pace was great. Seemed like they had plenty of carts as me and the guy I was paired with both got our own cart. I'll definitely be back soon.
Nice place, well kept, good value, pretty scenery.
I really enjoy this place. Great views. Challenging holes. Friendly staff. Nice greens and fareways. Be nice if staff would keep an eye on slow play. Actually hardly anyone does this anymore.
Range is decent just watch for draws and slices from 9th tee.
I've never broken 90 here so I'm no pro but our foursome shoots low 80's consistently.
Slowest round I ever played. Some holes had 4 groups on a hole.. 1 on the green, 1 in the fairway, 2 on the tee. Waited on ever hole!!! They just pack groups in with no ranger in site. 5+ hour round! Flag placements made you scratch your head. Certainly not in a hurry to come back here took 45 minutes to get here… same amount of time it took to play first 3 holes!!!
Love the course. Always well maintained. Good food
Nice. We'll taken care of. $68 for a round and a bucket of balls
Course was in great shape, and the layout is interesting. No two holes are the same, and there is great elevation change. There isn't much water or sand on the course. I didn't have negative interactions with the staff, as other reviews complain about. I didn't see any rangers - I went Thursday afternoon - so maybe pace of play could be an issue on weekends. Pace was a bit of an issue for us on the back nine, since we got stuck behind a group several groups ahead. The tees were pretty close to the previous green, so might be a good course to walk - though the elevation change could be difficult

Course was in great shape
Have played in a few outings there occasionally. Enjoyed playing every time. Even have a picture of the pond as my phone screen. Fun course and family owned. Prices are fair and the people are nice.
we will not be returning to play at Macoby. They charge weekend rates on Friday. They have no nine hole rate. They have no senior rate on weekends or holidays. There is never a starter and they book groups much too close together and the course jams up with 5 - 10 minute waits at the tee boxes. All in all a very disappointing experience. We are a group of 3 seniors who play regularly. Fortunately there are other local courses who appreciate our bisiness.
Course is in usually good shape. Always have fun playing there. Treat yourself to a round.
