Macoby Run Golf Course

I like this track. It's always cut nicely and the greens and tee boxes have been in great shape each time I played.

Good condition.

Played on a Saturday during inclement weather. After 9 holes and an a worsening weather report, I asked for a 9 hole rain check. I was told ‘the manager refuses to give any rain checks.’ Of course, the manager was unavailable. Over 25 years of golfing, I have never had a lack of courtesy shown. Such a lack of respect and consideration for their patrons. Not to mention the slow foursome in front of us with no course rangers or management.

Course is well maintained and it was in great shape. It’s challenging but great to play.

Played here for a big outing recently. The course was beautiful, nearly immaculate tee boxes and greens! Very scenic in the early fall. Great diversity of play with some really fun elevation changes. Good challenges for a beginner and seasoned player alike! Picture is from #3 Tee box - very nice challenging hole!

One note for the management - there were yellow jackets at 80%+ of the holes. Have seen bees on the course before, but never at every hole, tee box, and fairway like I did here. Was the only turn-off from the day.

Nice staff.. challenging course

I do like the course itself and the staff are nice people, but this past Saturday will be my last time playing here. Their motto should be “home of the 5 hour round” because I’ve never played less than a 5 hour round here. It’s absolutely absurd! I keep thinking that it can’t possibly be like this every time, but I’ve played here around 5 times and it’s at least a 5 hour round each time. So until they solve that, I’m not coming back here.

8 minute tee times are horrible. We had 4 groups on one hole, one on the green, one on the fairway, and two at the tees. They try to cram everyone in and the ranger cant do anything about - or even tried to do anything about it. I complained at the turn and they said they couldn't do anything about it and have to wait till next year to decide if they are extending the time between bookings cause they cant change it this year. They definitely can change it, they just don't want to.

Really enjoyed my 1st round here. Diverse routing, nice elevation changes, nice large greens. Will be back, played during the week at noon. Pace of play was about 4.25 hours. Fun, shot 83

Nice golf course interesting golf holes!

Nice course! It's pretty scenic. The only complaint was they must have sprayed something because there were a million bubbles over the course, and it made it a little hard to find your ball, haha. But other than that, it's actually a very nice course, not too challenging as long as you keep it on the fairway

Horrible. To start off. This place is way too packed. 8 minute tee time intervals just doesn’t work. What makes it one star: hospitality. The ranger noticed beers in our cart, DROVE ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE PRO SHOP AND ASKED IF WE BOUGHT THE BEER HERE. Then made me drive them back to my car and followed me back. After that, we’re on the second hole and the ranger comes by and yells at my buddy whose beer was in his bag before. Makes him take it back to the car and FOLLOWS him there. I’ve played over 100 courses and not once have ever had an experience like this. Always have my beer out and ready first hole. Never EVER been an issue. Absolutely INSANE way to treat your customers. And the ranger was an old asshole too eager to yell at us. Horrible horrible horrible never coming back here.

Course was in great shape

If I could I would leave this establishment a zero star review. Today a group of 9 golfers, 3 tee times, were followed by a course ranger for the entirety of front 9. Were approached twice, for slow pace, yet could not play in front because of the course overbooking tee times. Golf is supposed to be a leisure activity, welcoming of all ages, yet this golf course did not prioritize customer experience or manage its bookings appropriately. The staff was unprofessional, and the atmosphere was anything but relaxing. I will never return and would not recommend this course to anyone looking for a pleasant day of golf.

Love the course. But always overbooked, pace of play is soo slow. 12 holes in 3.5 hrs
