Food was cold, salty, and soggy beef sandwich. Poor quality. Had great experience previously, but this time was horrible. Wont return
Had extreme food poisoning less than an hour after leaving.Service was ok but not very attentive for the lack of customers in the place. Table was dirty, under condiments was nasty and the containers were sticky. Food was more expensive than expected and was not worth the price. We should have asked for another serving of Mac and Cheese or a different side as this one was so hard you could not eat it. Did not finish our plates and will not be returning.
What a treasure this place is! Had never been here before and I was very impressed with the quality and flavors of the food. I had wonderful cole slaw and a hamburger with onion rings on it that was beyond good. Service was outstanding, too. Hope to come back soon.
So I was actually on the Deli side. Ordered a steak and cheese hogie which came with chips and a small cole slaw. Sandwich was okay, nothing really special, chips where not very good at all but is what it is. Cole slaw was very good and honestly kinda saved the other stuff. Service was lacking, only one person taking orders and trying to do everything and she was honestly over whelmed. Also it wasn't even a cold day but was absolutely freezing inside the waiting area, I also learned while inside sunny way is under new management/ownership. They seem to be pretty much keeping everything as is cause the inside was dated and in serious need of updating. Overall would do in a pinch but far from knock your socks off, can't do without.....
New owner is amazing. It's my go-to comfort food in town. Staff makes you feel like family.
You better have portion control discipline going here, because they pile it on. Great home style cooking. Service was great. Prices very reasonable.
Good diner food. Reasonable price. Wait staff pleasant and
Still has that old diner feel with the new owners. Just had pie and coffee but it was good.
They sold me a peach pie that in under 24 hours had MOLD on it. Horrible way to end a beautiful Thanksgiving
Was here for breakfast. Food good, waitress excellent. Coffee however was very weak. Menu lacked information as to what came with the food. Doesn't say anything. We ordered eggs, toast and bacon separately because of lack of information.Plenty of parking but the first step in the door may be a challenge to those with physical handicap. Furniture could use a renovation.

*very disappointed*The waitress was more worried about guessing what each of us wanted to drink, rather than letting us order what we wanted.I Ordered the turkey club and asked for lightly toasted. When I received my order the toast was so black you would have lost it if you dropped it in the parking lot. I asked why I got black toast when I asked for lightly toasted, I was told that the toaster is faulty. I asked what they were going to do about it and I was offered a dollar off of my bill. Also my diabetic father asked for sweet potato fries with his cheeseburger and was served regular fries.Needless to say I left a plate full of food and we won’t be back. I will be eating at the Homestyle Family Restaurant from now on, they have much better food and service than Sunnyway Diner.
Got potato salad from deli Fri. Opened it sat, the lid was swelled up and ready to popIt was so sour, couldn't eat it. I will never eat or shop there again.
I had to interrupt three servers deep in conversation to get a menu. Had to send my meatloaf back--it was extremely burned on one side. Two servers were on-and-off their phones during my visit. Had to ask for silverware. One worker came out of the kitchen with music blasting from her mobile device. This use to be a nice restaurant.
Busy, but unorganized. Was hoping new owenership would have changed past Sunnyway menu. Food just so-so. No senior menu. 30 West, Family Table, or Family in all better choices. Was hoping the New Sunny would be better. Not a great experience.
Not busy when I visited. I ordered a biscuit with sausage gravy. It was just ok..I thought I could have been cooked more to get rid of the flour taste.
