The person who helped me over the phone had an excellent phone presence and was very helpful. When I picked up my order, she was pleasant, cheerful and communicated very well. I cannot remember her name, but would return again and again to receive this level of customer service.

A few months back me and my family stopped in at Tony's Pizza for their sub special. We all ordered steak and cheese subs. My moms was a special cheesesteak with all the fixings. Our waitress was very friendly and had a smile on her face. There was only two Caucasian teenagers working in the place. The rest of them were her Hispanic. My mom received her sub. She took one bite of it and all of her onions and green peppers were gone. Our waitress asked her if she would like to get more for her sub mom said no it would be okay. However, the waitress assisted went and asked the cook for green peppers and onions. The cook asked the waitress who was it for. She pointed to my mom. He proceeded to look at her and then laugh. She brings over more peppers and onions. She puts it on her sub. Takes a bite of it. She had to spit it out because it made her mouth so hot that the cook was a smart-ass and gave her a jalapeno peppers instead of green. I asked the teenage boy to have the sandwich replaced and he agreed., the manager of the store argued with the teenage boy and proceeded to tell him that it will not be replaced. Then he proceeded to look at me and tried to give back my old sandwich in place of a new one. I proceed to tell him that was not the new sandwich that it was the old one that I brought up. He proceeded to tell me he was not going to refund my money back. Was not going to make me a new sandwich and if I did not leave he was going to call the police. because they have smart asses working in there and thought it was funny to give my mom. Who is 72 years old jalapeno peppers to eat. I used to work there back in the day (94) as a driver. Wonderful place. So was the people. However, after this new management it's a terrible place. I would not recommend my dog or anyone else to eat there.

I also told the manager on my way out. who acted like the owner that Joe and the old management would not have treated their customers like this at all.

This pizza was the most cardboard, artificial, basic “two-slice combo” I’ve ever had the displeasure of purchasing. I can think of two places in Hagerstown that give you a “two-slice combo” where one slice alone is BIGGER than the *two* that Tony’s reheats for you; and that’s another thing—the two places in Hagerstown will actually add more cheese and toppings to show that they’re not just taking the pre-made cheese pizzas and throwing loose toppings onto them.

This place took a dramatic turn for the worse after management change. Recipes changed and low quality ingredients. My pizza was undercooked crust was doughy and cheese was poor quality. This place used to be amazing, now it’s practically inedible.

Just moved nearby and after seeing the place so much, I figured we would try their steak & cheese subs out. I am a big fan of steak & cheese subs, having tried them at over 60 different places on the east coast.

The subs were about half the size around as the average steak and cheese sub. The meat tasted bland, unsalted/unseasoned and the texture was as if it had come out of a frozen pack of Steak-ums from the grocery store, but worse.

I asked for black olives, cooked mushrooms, raw onion, green pepper, mayo & provolone cheese. The onion was good, as was the green pepper. There was no taste or sign of mayonnaise whatsoever. I received about 1 full black olive cut into pieces on my sub, as-well as they skimped dramatically on the mushroom just as heavily too.

This isn’t something I would’ve fed my dog, and our subs (both identical and both equally skimped/horrible) were by far the worst steak and cheese subs we have both ever tried, aside from one place in Myrtle Beach that gave me rotten cheese and old stale bread.

I was hoping that our experience would’ve been different, as it would have been nice to frequent and support this local business. However I don’t find it worthwhile to spend money at a place that can’t even salt/season meat and that charges the same price as other businesses with the same product that will give you not only better quality food, but also a sub that is twice as large around and overload you with the toppings you ask for rather than skimp you to the point that it’s as if half of your toppings didn’t even exist.

Will not be returning. Money is better off spent elsewhere.

This was my favorite pizza place around for years, but, once it changed management the pizza was not as good. I also really enjoyed the baked ziti dinners and recommended them to others, but just made a takeout order for the first one since new management and the dinner was awful. First I didn’t get my salad, and yes I called back the phone girl was nice apologized and offered to credit it, the garlic bread was not toasted and covered with green herbs with the stems and just a few pieces of chopped garlic. Not eatable. The ziti sauce was not good I even ask my husband to taste it and his response was not to eat it. I may have been in vodka sauce not sure, but not what I ordered. So very disappointed, I will not be coming back again. To change management is one thing but to change the food was a mistake.

I ordered pick up. I got there and they were friendly and professional. They were kind to my toddler (who has a lot of energy). They were punctual with their time stated, and the food was delicious.

Ordered two chicken tender kids meals. The chicken was so hard and burnt. It looked like the oil hadn’t been changed in weeks and then it tasted like fried pickles also ordered jalapeño poppers and got breaded mushrooms so now both of my children cannot eat their chicken tenders . After a long night of ball games this was a terrible way to end the night . We ordered from them once before, and our food was not up to past quality so after several months, we decided to give them another try, and it was definitely disappointing to say the very least will never order from them again.

I swear the drivers must take turns at like 40mph since the pizzas always arrive with all toppings and cheese slid to one side. The taste and quality have gone super downhill recently. Very sad.

I ordered a large meatball sub from the Greencastle location along with a large fries. The service was excellent, the delivery was prompt, and the food was delicious!(02/24/25). They will definitely get more business from me!

My boyfriend ordered a large pizza yesterday and when we opened the box the pizza was all over the place. It was absolutely disgusting it looks like someone took the box and shook it. This place has went downhill severely.
