Hoss's needs to turn back to the things that worked for them in the past. The only thing from the past is the decor of the place. Service was mediocre at best. I couldn't tell you the name of any employee in there since I noticed no name tags on our server or any other server walking by. The 20 oz Ribeye was shoe leather, which never should be in that cut of steak unless you don't know how to cook a steak by tempering it prior to putting it on a fire. All in all, Hoss's reminds me of a steak house that is about to go under.

Hoss disappointed all around. Out of crab cakes, no Lima beans with barbecue sauce, dry Mac and cheese. Salad bar was dirty as was the floor and entrance. Won’t ever be going back.

Great service, great food! We had stuffed ourselves with nachos and other things from the bar before or food arrived and wanted ice cream so we brought half of our main dishes home and made our own desserts. The kids love that stuff!Kid-friendliness: Gummies and sprinkles and lots of other yummy toppings for them to put on their Ice Cream.

I know it's a chain restaurant, and I try to steer clear of chains. Our daughter is a steak, baked potato & salad bar fanatic- so that changes things a little.We've come here for years, at least once a year. We were just there this past week.We always get the steak, baked potato meal with the salad bar. All four of us, every time.In the years we have been coming, we have NEVER had a lackluster meal. The steak is always cooked to perfection (some steakhouses struggle with this!), salad bar fresh, place tidy & clean, and the service great.Our only gripe the last two visits were how **tiny** the baked potatoes have gotten. Our 13 year old steak & potato daughter needed to eat my potato as well. They used to be huge, but now are smaller than the steak.

The server was very nice but slow and she left our table more than once without taking our order to go wait on other people. We were there almost 20 minutes before she took our order.My salad was fine but my son's steak was overcooked and my grandson's cheeseburger was burnt and hard to chew.
