We attended a Sunday Brunch. The food was extraordinary and very good. However, I am toughly disappointed in the way my experience was handled. I specifically asked for a table to accommodate my party of 13. I was told that the max allowable on ONE table was 14, so I was happy to make the reservation. I requested that the table that we were to be given be as close to the buffet as possible, as we had several elderly family members and 2 with mobility issues. When we arrived, we were shown to TWO separate round tables as far away from the buffet as possible in the dining room. After I complained, the best that the staff could do was push our two round tables next to each other - still in the back of the room. IT did not satisfy or meet the expectations that I specifically requested when making the reservation. The wait staff reluctantly attended to our needs, as it was obvious that they were not pleased with our requests. I am totally disappointed in the experience.
Once again, the food was wonderful - but I will not be coming to the William Penn Inn again, as they totally made the dining experience unpleasant.

I went here to celebrate my 60th birthday. The place was decorated for the holidays. We were in one of the smaller rooms, which was nice. Our waiter brought us a bread basket and a plate of zucchini bread. The zucchini bread was delicious 🤤. For apps, we got calamari ,burratta, and focaccia bread. They were delicious as well. Our dinners consisted of salmon, filet Mignon, dinner salad, seafood platter, and chicken tender meal for my grandson. We tried several of the desserts, and they were good as well. The wait staff was limited, and our waiter was working several rooms, so dinner took a while. In the end, another waiter helped us by bringing our check to us because we waited a while for that.
Wow ! What can I say. 10 outta 10. My family and I got the pleasure of dining in at the William Penn inn this evening. Our cousin is getting married and she had the rehearsal dinner at William Penn inn. Now I don't get out much but my God the service was impeccable! Amazing! Outstanding! From someone who works in the industry good service is not easy to come by. It's rare to find an establishment with staff such as what we experienced tonight. From the bartender Lisa to our amazing server and Marie to the manager Lauren everyone of the staff went above and beyond to make sure every single one of us was taken care of and having a great time. The drinks were five star the food was five star ! I would highly recommend going here ! If your able to go during Sunday brunch ask for Ann Marie by far the best server I have had EVER.
