Amazing food! happened to stop here on our way to the Renaissance Faire. Would recommend to anyone. The cornbread (moist!), collard greens (great flavor!) and the Mac and cheese (amazing cheese!) were fantastic. So were the quesadillas, but those three stood out.

I'll first start off with the service, which was good. The staff seemed friendly and the food came out quickly. The food unfortunately, which was 2 cheesesteaks was dog food.... It smelled and tasted like dog food. I'm not sure if my dog would even eat it. The cheesesteaks was bland and the cheese was tasteless. They most likely used a low quality watered down store bought space. I recommend Rao's or even a sauce without water if their going to use store bought. Then they charged me $40 for 2 cheesesteaks, even though they had a sign that cheesesteaks were $10 on Wednesdays. Would not return unless the food is improved and discounts are honored.

We stopped in on a Tuesday evening. We both got the brisket platter. The brisket was very good. We each had two sides and a piece of cornbread that came with the platter. Tyler, who is the owner and chef, waited on us. He brought 3 different bottles of homemade BBQ sauce to our table. We liked the small town feel of this little diner on the main street in town. Very casual, very comfortable. Tyler was very attentive and checked on us a few times during our meal. He even told us his story about culinary school.

We have had takeout and dine in from here and everything is great. You have to try their AYCE wings and cheesesteak Wednesdays!

Chef Tyler and his mom always go above and beyond in the service department Food taste and quality always exceeds my expectations!

Know what happens to brisket when it’s badly barbecued? It turns into mom‘s chewy overcooked Sunday afternoon roast beef. I cannot recommend. My sandwich was Chewy brisket that seems to have been reheated on the grill, and grocery store quality onion rings. Not a fan. I could only get through half of it before throwing it away.
I travel to Texas every year, and even their chain barbecue restaurants are far superior to this.

Brisket sandwich with onion rings -$16

I can’t overstate the flavor, care, and dedication that is put into this food. Bev and her son know what they’re doing…! Always look forward to coming “home” to this place. Because it’s just that….HOME COOKIN!

We ordered takeout. It was terrible. The fried pickles were disgusting and not cooked right. The corn nuggets were old. Our pork was cold. It was really disappointing. This is the second time we tried it and won’t be returning.
