We went there for dinner. Felt really sorry for the server, she was the only one there to wait tables, hostess and bus the tables. The food was very good and very reasonably priced.

Very good food & excellent service. The desserts were a big hit with several in my party. I enjoyed the brussel sprouts appetizer & the antipasto. Yum!

I have eaten here over a handful of times only because its a little out of the way but I love their food, ESPECIALLY their pizzas. I've lived in Italy for five years and Im always reminded of those times when eating here. Quality food at great prices and highly recommend Carlisle Pike location.

Don't usually do reviews, but after reading some of the bad ones I read thought I would report my experience. Ate at resturant on Sunday, got the Veal Parmesan and a salad. The veal dish was superb. Veal, sauce, and cheese excellent. The salad was really good, not sure what the house dressing was but really good. The only complaint I had I was so full after eating, skipped all meals the next day. Next time might get a doggy bag.
Awful service. There was one person who was hostess bartender server an bus boy. It was slow and the food was only ok. Its a shame I had such high hopes for this place.

I have never left a review before because I have never had a bad experience with restaurant food. Not even one time did I not like the food I got before I went to this place.
This place served seafood risotto with tiny shell fragments all throughout. The clam shells had absolutely no meat, and it wasn’t elsewhere in the food. Maybe their other food is good but this specific item, which is the one I got, was genuinely trash.

Restaurantji Recommends
If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered the crab stuffed shrimp and it was so salty I could barely eat it. This was the absolute worst stuffed shrimp I’ve ever eaten. I suffered the entire night, so thirsty through the night and the worst pain in my chest ,it kept me awake all night. I ordered a French 75 cocktail and it was so nasty I had to gag it down. In my opinion this place isn’t gonna stay open much longer. Our bill was $100 and I was shocked when the waitress brought it to us and saw the total. I see why there were only 3 other tables besides us in the restaurant on a Friday night. This was my 2nd time there. The 1st time I had the pizza and wasn’t impressed it was so small and I had to go home and eat because it didn’t fill me up. Thought we’d give it another try. Mistake. The prices are very high the stuffed shrimp were $33 and you get nothing with it, no sides not even a salad or bread. You pay the same at Gilligans restaurant and they give you 2 sides plus fresh baked dinner rolls. And the crab stuffed shrimp are outstanding. NEVER will I EVER return to this restaurant again. I do not recommend it. I NEVER leave reviews so this is my first time but that’s how dissatisfied and disappointed I was with the food here.

I would say the atmosphere is great, nice awesome understanding servers. But I was under the impression this is “authentic” Italian cuisine. I’m not Italian, but I lived in Europe most of my life. Definitely not authentic Italian. I enjoyed the pizza however, the sauce was great. Calamari was not good.

Bring a sweater! This place is as cold as an ice rink. Prices are high but the ingredients are quality.

Not a huge Italian person, but I had heard from a few people, but they have a really nice happy hour here so my girlfriend and I came and checked it out. It’s actually a solid happy hour. The whole menu is 50% off. We actually sat at the bar, so the ambience obviously was the bar inside the door, but it was still nice With some great food. Bartender was very attentive jovial conversational dishes were presented nicely. Good portions. Sometimes you get happy hours and they give you a cheap price and half a portion, but that wasn’t the case here drinks were good. That was the only negative for me. They don’t have any namebrand liquor. It’s all the PA liquors so it was good but you know you’re drinking sort of just PA liquor which to me I think is a little lesser quality, but it is one of the loop poles and some of the restaurants used to get around not having a liquor license I suppose is how I’m understanding thatbut the drinks that we have are good. I’ve definitely would recommend somebody to come here and check it out the menu is pretty expensive. A lot of options should be something here to meet everybody’s pallet and I definitely come back for sure.

If they're not out of food, it's great! But they keep changing their prices. One time they have happy hour prices, next time not. Not sure what they're doing. But once they make up their mind, I may go back.
