When I went to Hampton diner in Mechanicsburg I ordered a Cheeseburger and French Fries. My friends were telling me at the table that my cheeseburger was a bit pink and not well done because thats the way I always like my burgers. Our waitress did not ask about how I'd like my burger done, normally I remember to ask but I feel as though they should be required to ask considering it is meat and it is what you're consuming. She also didn't say anything about any up-charges for french fries when ordering. We left the Diner around 5:30 and I got home around 6:45. As soon as I got home I got sick and figured out I had food poisoning. But the moment I left the restaurant my stomach was upset the entire time. It is now going on 10pm and I am still not feeling great with food poisoning. This needs to be addressed because that is a food safety concern regarding your restaurant, and how the food isn't being properly made, and could potentially make others sick with food poisoning if not addressed.

The presentation of Hampton diner in Mechanicsburg was pretty. The cole slaw was very disgusting and had a very weird after taste. The crab cake sandwich was bland and couldn't taste really anything from that either. The fries weren't really great...it didn't really taste like they were fresh and they were cold. The server, Olivia G didn't tell us about the upcharges for the fries for my meal or for my bfs meal for his French onion soup. The cashier at the register was a bit strange, he kept looking at my friend as she was writing on the receipt and at my bfs as well and its like he was expecting more from us.

A stand out diner! It is my go to whenever I go out for breakfast. The location is prime since it is right by Lowes and Home Depot. Breakfast before buying for building. Plenty of parking. Plenty of tables. Seating and service are immediate. Food comes out quickly and as ordered. The quality is high and consistent between visits. Fancy deserts case at the register. Daily specials on the board at the door. I recommend stopping in and giving it a try.

What a great place!!! People are always so welcoming and friendly. The prices are terrific!!! The Restaurant is clean, and so are the bathrooms. The food is absolutely delicious! My family loves to eat here and everyone looks forward to going! The spinach pie and Greek salad are super! Love this place❤️

The Country Fried Steak was served hot and well-prepared, but the eggs (ordered over easy) were unfortunately undercooked.
The Eggs Benedict was disappointing, as it featured hard-boiled eggs and a broken Hollandaise sauce, which significantly impacted the dish's quality.
On a positive note, the waitress was friendly, attentive, and very helpful, enhancing the overall dining experience despite the food-related issues.
The food was terrible steak was tough and drowned in grease or butter my husband had meatloaf and stated he did not realize he ordered Jerky because it was dried out .Beef vegtable soup had what appeared to be lunch meat cooked and thrown in it. The only thing that was good about this place was the waitresses if not for their pleasant attitudes and prompt service I would give no stars .

My honey dipped chicken was not the best. My wifes eggplant parm was excellent. Huge portion and really good. I really liked our server and it was a really nice diner. I'd definitely go back and just get the chicken parm next time instead of the honey dipped chicken.
