Garden View Dining at Peter Becker Community

Very pleasant relaxing atmosphere and good food. Servers are nice young people. Enjoy the comfortable chairs and seating arrangements.

Dirty dishes

While at Peter Becker, my grandfather who was there to get his strength up from radiation, his care was acceptable. It came to the point where they said they couldn't help anymore, which is fair since it is for PT. Upon coming to pick him up, my grandfather was basically non-responsive. We were told to put him in my car and call if we have problems, but "he's fine". My mom, his POA asked 3 nurses if he really is okay, and they said yes so we went with it. We got him home and a friend in the medical field came to visit and sent him to the ER hours after leaving Peter Becker. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and from there went into hospice and died a week later. 2 weeks prior, before going to Peter Becker he was fine. It's clear that nurses at Peter Becker should have sent him to the hospital and known he was NOT okay to go home with us, and should not have told family members who know not much about medical conditions to be caregivers of a non-responsive 6'5" man that we were told to drive home. Terrible call from the nurses and clearly they tried to hide him being sick from being in there.
