My siblings and I just hosted our mom's surprise 70th Birthday party at Bernie's in Hatboro last night with 60 guests and it was an amazing time! Eric and his team did a wonderful job executing all of the details for set up as we had discussed. The atmosphere and food were on point! We had a private bar and the girls who worked our event did a great job keeping the space clean throughout the night. The private area we had was spacious and there was plenty of parking...
The restaurant is nice. The service wasn’t great, at least our waitress wasn’t very good. No refill on our bottomless mimosa or waters. Our plates weren’t cleared from the table as we were done and just hanging out. Long wait for our food and it wasn’t even that crowded. The French onion soup was good but very salty. The guacamole on the chicken sandwich was also a bit too salty. They need to lay off the salt, people can always add salt to their meals as they’re eating.
Food was excellent, but service stunk. Came back because the first experience was great. At 8:20 pm Saturday night it was not busy. The people at the bar got more attention than the surrounding tables. Took forever to get a refill. Luckily she brought waters. She didn’t look happy to be there tonight.
