First time here and I loved it. The decor was cozy and vintage, the service was quick and the staff made you feel right at home. The French toast breakfast came with a perfectly cooked fried egg and super thick bacon. Will def be returning!

The quality of food has changed 100% for the better. The new owners are wonderful and take pride in their business. I have seen the difference in the last 15 years from the food to the staff. I go everyday for breakfast and twice on the weekends. I try all the specials and each one gets better. Everyone needs to experience Daddypops for themselves!

Greeted by new owner who was very friendly. Food was fine. Unfortunately service was slow, no one comes around checking on coffee refills. Seemed to be a lot of regulars which is great for them but not so much someone coming in first time. Waitress stood and chatted with regular customer at counter for way too long while her tables waited just to place their order. At checkout, waitress told us she was busy to wait a second which we understand but then had to interrupt the owner who was talking to regular customers at the table. Other reviews express same issues.

Atmosphere is a little strange with regulars being very territorial about “their” seats at the counter. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. I got 2 pumpkin pancakes which were just as good before the diner changed hands, and decaf coffee. But I for $14 and some change I find the price high, and that was before tip.

Lived in Hatboro for half of my life and never went to this place. Went there for the first time today and realized I was not missing anything. Service was ridiculously slow, food was cold when we finally got it and it seemed like if you weren't a regular you didn't matter. Won't be back.
