What a delicious chocolate chip pound cake for my boyfriend’s 70th Birthday this past Saturday! Everyone complimented the taste! Thank you to everyone at Lochels for being part of this special day and memory! Appreciated the delivery too!! The theme was James Bond as you can see by the cake topper.

Second time going to this bakery after I specify that I wanted assortment of cookies and the colors the first time I got a quarter pound, and they put all the sorted on the bottom and a few colors on top. The second time I asked for sorted the colors and specified the colors And they still left out some colors. I am Afro-American and the majority Caucasian upscale neighborhood of Hatboro. I've had no problems and any other establishment sitting out in the sun, walking to the bank walking with my client except in this bakery if you're a person, a color go to Brettnbecks in Chestnut Hill Delicious eats multicultural staff never disrespected never overlooked orders always correct

I ordered a cake for my parent's 50th Wedding Anniversary. We were looking for something very specific & after working with Kathleen she knew exactly what I wanted & her team made our vision perfect! All of our cakes were delicious-I couldn't decide which cake flavor was my favorite!! I added on cookies to our order last minutes & the tray was color coordinated with the cake! It's the extra special touches that made the event perfect. Thank you again for everything!!!

Read reviews and had high hopes…unfortunately I was very disappointed. Only gave 2 stars because cake was moist but overall would not order here again. First, they called the morning of my cake pick up to verify what shape I wanted the cake. A little late to be asking imo. Second, they put the wrong name on the cake so I had to turn around and go back. They didn’t offer any money back and laughed about the error. Third, I asked for an espresso martini flavored cake but again, was utterly disappointed that it was chocolate cake with chocolate icing which in hindsight I could have bought at Wegmans….Might not have written a review if the cake was not as expensive as it was, but for what I paid I expected MUCH better…
EDIT: In response to reply: A) Your reply of misspelling “doubled” shows me how important double checking your work should be, again making sure you spell the client’s name correctly. B) Your response of not apologizing for the inconvenience/error in not even misspelling a name, but putting a completely wrong name is just another reason I would never go there again. C) If you were uncomfortable or felt you could not provide the flavor profile that was agreed upon, you should have been honest about that and our expectations would have been different.
Lastly, the cake still tasted very good and looked like the picture but the experience and lack of accountability and acknowledgement of error and honesty as well as the attitude in the response is why I felt compelled to write a review.

I’ve ordered 2 cakes for my sons’ in the past 6 months and they both were amazing. Not only were they the best tasting but both so beautiful. Lochel’s is so easy to order with and accommodating with requests and pickup times. They’re our go to! I also started a new tradition for birthday donuts for myself instead of caking because their donuts are so good.
This was for my husbands 60th birthday. He loved it! My whole family did. Besides the amazing art work on the cake, it was delicious! Thank you so much!!

Love this Bakery, people are so nice & friendly, I ordered a cake for my Daughters Birthday, it was a raspberry/vanilla pound cake it was the best & moistest cake I ever had! Everyone raved about it. This bakery definitely deserves 5 stars! A+

Not only was our daughter’s first birthday cake delicious, but it was absolutely beautiful! I asked for the decorator (Miranda) to copy a boot on the invitation and she exceeded my expectations! I didn’t want to cut the cake because it was so perfect!
