Was there on a Friday night around 5:30, with a friend. Was asked if we made reservations said no. Then asked should we have. Then offered a table and was told we had to leave within 1 hour. They had a party coming in. Plenty of tables around us we're not reserved, and people walking in and sitting down. Proceeded to have soup and an appetizer. Asked if we wanted anything else, replied yes dessert. Hostess said make it to go, they need to leave. Ignorant... top it off this was the First time we were there and LAST.

I've been trying all the Italian restaurants in the area and this is a new favorite. Great place for high quality traditional Italian American dishes at very reasonable prices. I recommend the linguini scampi. The six large shrimp were cooked appropriately and the pasta was nicely al dente. The sauce was subtle and all the flavors well balanced. Not too much garlic, oil, or lemon – just right. And OMG, finally a restaurant that knows to remove the tail and shell from shrimp when it goes into a sauce! Because who wants to get their fingers all messy from holding saucy shrimp by the tail? No one, that’s who.
The gnocchi sorrento was appropriately rich. The gnocchi themselves were quite good; the tomato sauce was simple and not bad. The mozzarella cheese might have been just a bit excessive for me, though I expect most people would love this. I added some parmesan cheese from the table for extra saltiness and flavor. 16 hours later I think I can still feel this dish sitting in my stomach; I should probably fast today.
The namesake pasta fazool soup was just pretty good. The pasta in the soup was nicely al dente, which most restaurants can’t seem to achieve. The bread served to each table is fresh and warm. It’s not Italian bread, and not great, but reasonably flavorful. We did not order dessert, but from peeking at other diners’ tables, it looked good.
Dining room can be drafty when the weather is cold. I kept my coat on the whole time. Service was professional, friendly, prompt. We appreciated the complementary chocolatecello shots at the end of our meal. The prices here are very reasonable for the quality and volume of food you get, though be aware that the specials do come with a price bump. Stick with on-menu items for value, and specials to splurge.

We were so excited to try this local Italian restaurant with good reviews, but the food was simply bad. We got the eggplant parm, which was watery and had definitely been frozen and reheated. The eggplant had almost no flavor and was an unpleasant texture. The shrimp scampi tasted like garlic and not much else. The pasta was also overcooked. I will be sticking to other Italian restaurants like Nonna Giovanna’s in Maple Glen.

Let me start by saying Pasta Fazool is a Hidden Italian Gem restaurant located in Hatboro PA. Melissa and I started with fresh Nonna bread dip with (Olive Oil w/olive fresh pieces and Parmesan cheese). The side salad was refreshing. I ordered the Filet Tips which was rich and flavorful with portabella mushrooms. Melissa had their Eggplant parm. Our meals were huge portions. The owner Sergio is an AMAZING chef who cooks with love 💛💚🩵💙. Top this wonderful experience we had such excellent service from Savannah who was a sincere and kind server. She loves her role and is passionate continuing to be apart of this amazing family and brand. Lastly, we had the homemade ice creams Chocolate & Tiramisu. Alll must try’s!!!!

This restaurant may look questionable from the outside, but once you get inside you will be glad you stopped. The food is all homemade. I had a house salad which was huge and the Rigatoni Carbonaro which was delicious and enough to take home leftovers for later! Save room for the homemade ice cream which is creamy and original with flavors that include tiramisu, cannoli, and coconut! The tiramisu is also one of the best I’ve ever had!

Our first time eating there everything was going great food and service was good until my wife finds a dead fly in her sauce. I understand things do happen but makes you question the cleanliness of the kitchen? The server was polite and took it off the bill and we left it at that hopefully this is a one time issue but probably will not go back it’s a shame.

An absolute unassuming hidden gem- you would think you are on Arthur Ave in The Bronx, North Boston or South Philly- but you are in the suburbs in a shopping center. Amazing service- great prices.

Holy cow, I’ve lived around here my whole life and i cant believe noone has ever told me about this place! So i feel its my job to SCREAM at the top of my lungs about how amazing my experience was. Savannah is so bubbly , friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and specials. I am so impressed with her ability to remember and recite the intricate details of all of the specials. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. We met the chef and he was just as sweet and as the hostess. This place is a real hidden gem, And im going to do my best to help unhide it!
