Im sorry but this place is just an overpriced dump.We had a Detroit pie which was burnt to a crisp and tasteless.Beers and cocktails are overpriced..$9 for a beer ,$16 for a cocktail! You sit at a formica table with paper napkins…zero ambience… it’s like they ran out of money halfway through construction. I feel bad for the people of Hatboro. They obviously don’t know what good is. Never again!
My favorite by far is their Sweet and Spicy Pizza. So unique. Staff and owner go out of their way to ensure a delicious and enjoyable experience. Hatboro is very lucky to have this gem right in our own backyard.
First off, it's important to note that Steel Penny does not allow customization of menu items. They're very rigid about substitutions or adjustments, which feels a bit off-putting and inflexible, especially for those who like to tweak their orders.
