This place is truly one of a kind. If you're looking for a down-home mom and pop shop, this is it!
Tim is the owner and the cook, and will greet you as soon as you walk in the door. He then explains it is a self-serve kind of place, tells you where all the items you need are located, and then asks you what you want off of the menu board. Everything is $10 cash. When you are finished you bring your dishes into the kitchen entrance and pay Tim.
I try and go here at least once a weekend with my boys

Weird. Went in with a group of all women and you’d think we were entering the twilight zone. They were hesitant to allow us to use the restroom, stating “they only ever have men in here” even though it was clearly marked a women’s room. They were also shocked that we found the place and weren’t just passing through.. they demanded to know how we found them and where we were coming from. We left promptly.

Tim, the owner, is the nicest guy you'll ever know. He cooks an amazing breakfast. It feels like family to eat here because there are friendly regulars.

I giving it one star because of my experience. Aside from the food being OK, the experience was horrible. My first time there, and I was barely greeted. The place doesn't have menus. The place doesn't have servers. The place doesn't have an ATM, yet it's only cash; however, there was no sign to say it was only cash. The place didn't have honey or lemon. After my food came, I was on my own. The owner never came back to check on me, and never came back with a check. It was only because he told me it would be $10 that I finally left the money on the table and walked out. Horrible experience, and yes, I will say, it felt like they were being racist towards me.
This place is AWESOME! Don’t listen to the few negative reviews. Tim is great! Foods delicious and it’s a very friendly old fashioned vibe. Reminds me of my grandmothers restaurant when I was a kid. For the Karen’s leaving reviews, “Omg you have to do some things yourself.” Go somewhere else if you’re a rude person or wear a mask while you drive your car. This ain’t the place for you. $10 for a great breakfast and a great experience maybe an extra $1 for something to drink and I always leave a tip. The positive reviews describe this place perfectly. Just moved here a year ago and the first time I came here I was laughing from the time I sat down until I left. Support these types of businesses! Cant wait to come back in on a Sunday morning.

There are no words to describe our dining "experience" here other than maybe "an adventure". It's the first time I've ever eaten at a total "self serve" restaurant. Here's how it works : 1) Seat yourself, there's no host or hostess 2) Coffee? Get it yourself and if you need more...you make the next pot. 3) Ready to eat? Just walk into the kitchen and tell the cook (the only employee in the place) what you want. He'll yell for you when it's ready and you can walk back and get it. I should say that the food was good and the portion size was decent. There's also a list of 4 or 5 specials written on the white board. 4) Finished? You clear your table and take your dirty dishes back to the kitchen, the cook will tell you where to put them. 5) Payment? This is the easy part, it's a fixed $10 p/p no matter what you get and there's no need to tip. Seems to be a popular old guy hang out.
Parking: Plenty of convenient parking right outside the door.

Tim is wonderful, it was our first time going there and he really helped us understand how the place runs. We were from out of the area, but when we move to Hatfield soon he will be seeing our little family more often. Food was amazing as well, if you know how to have great conversations with strangers this is the place for you. Thanks Tim!

As of right now when I was in there it was a one-man show, but honestly I don't think you can get the hospitality without being that way. I'm not much of a breakfast person but let me tell you what I was definitely spoiled with the breakfast I had from this place. Brought back memories of Grandma's homemade cooking. I'm from Michigan and now it's going to suck when I have those cravings for this place but who knows that craving might bring me out here again. Best home meal breakfast I've ever had in over 20 years.
