I had the birria tacos and nachos. The food was bland, dry, and overcooked. The kids tacos looked like they shook pre shredded mozzarella out of a bag and some dry meat and put it on a dry tortilla.

This was our first time trying to establishment and I’ve got to say we were highly disappointed and probably will not be returning. This place highly charged for minimum food .We spent $14 on a pint of Chicken tortilla soup. The APA chicken taco $12, did not have much flavor. The BYO chorizo tacos $14 were very dry. We also ordered the guac and chips $14. The house verde and the Roja salsa were both very watered down and did not have much kick to them. However, the guac was delicious. The staff were very friendly however, the quantity as well as quantity of food were both a disappointment.

Received $100 in gift cards for Iron Hill and a week later they were out of business. I heard on the Preston & Steve radio show that Stove & Tap (chain) would honor the cards, so we decided to try AL PASTOR in Havertown (which is part of the Stove & Tap company). The staff was SO NICE and they happily honored the gift cards -- the staff knew about the gift card swap program so there was no awkward explaining. What a GREAT discovery!! Will be back for SURE -- the service was awesome, the food was delicious, and portion size made for leftovers, there is plenty of parking across the street, and the place is adorable inside. Highly recommend!

Al Pastor is Dead! FOOD ONLY REVIEW It pains me to write this because my beloved local burrito spot is no more. I hope that some how this helps make a change but since the reopen (new mgmt. investor) the food is below Chipotle level. Major downgrades across the board for the burritos tortilla are spongy and old, no more Mexican rice replaced by bland boil in a bag white rice, like maybe 2 slivers of tomato and nothing else, hard chewy wired chicken. No cool side salad - ugh! So sad! WE WANT THE OLD AL PASTOR!! ❤️

We are so happy to have this spot open back up after the renovation in our area. We absolutely love and adore Melissa. She’s phenomenal! We also had the pleasure of having Lill as our server most recently and she was amazing too! Food is always yummy too!

First night back open so some understanding here; portions were small and hard to justify the cost. We had burrito bowls and while tasty, we were left craving a little more. It’s hard to compete with portion sizes of a fast food Mexican joint but unfortunately that’s the comparison. My sons burrito was cute and all before he inhaled it in seconds flat.
Tequila cocktail was more watermelon than tequila and the spicy margarita was initially not edible/drinkable.
Service was great, attentive although water to the table as a courtesy was not forthcoming.
We’ll likely stick to Tuesday specials for the half price tacos to feel like we are getting our fill of tasty food at a good price.
The outdoor vibe is the best in town; now to get food and drinks to the same level.

Food is good, but a little overpriced for Mexican. The happy hour could be better.

My mom and I came here the other day and let’s just say everything about here was amazing! We shared the chips, salsa, and queso with some drinks. Also, I’d like to give a huge thank you to my waitress Lilly who was so sweet! She made us feel so welcomed and was the highlight of our night. We definitely will come again!

Could have been a fun night but ended up frustrated. We waited at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged-maybe 15. Considered getting up and leaving. Our waitress was nice but the service overall was poor. Lots of staff but not sure what exactly they were doing.
