“We absolutely love the Westgate Pub. We recently had my daughter's first holy communion party in their private room and it was spectacular. Our server was great, the food was delicious, and the party decor and planning was beautiful and out of this world. Sue goes above and beyond with her decorations at Westgate. They treat you like family and they are our favorite local restaurant hands down. Highly recommend for events, lunch/dinner, or casual drinks at the bar! Thank you Westgate!!!“

“I ordered lunch for my family, for take out. One item was loaded potato puffs. They came with a very small drizzle of sour cream and a few small pieces of bacon. most were dry and plain. Very frustrating as this was my husbands only food he ordered and will be eating 😔“

“I stopped by for Happy Hour and tried the Burger & Beer combo with fries, as well as a slice of plain Detroit Style pizza. Everything was decent but could have been better. The Happy Hour pricing for the combo is worth it but just don’t expect a spectacular burger and the best beer.

I’d say the pizza slice was a bit overpriced. It was a bit undercooked and a bit lacking in flavor from the sauce and cheese. Perhaps the dough could use more salt. The burger was more flavorful but the bun was surprisingly soggy a few minutes after it was served. This wasn’t detrimental but it’s an area to improve. It also seemed like the toppings weren’t as evenly dispersed as they could have been but maybe they were just easily moving around a lot. I’m not as familiar with beer but I think I’ve tasted better but I also wouldn’t expect better for a Happy Hour deal, so I’m not complaining at all. The fries were fine as well, a couple served soggy, not the best flavor, but passable.

The service was great. My server checked on me at timely intervals and gave me everything I needed.

The atmosphere offers a few different options which was nice. Even the outdoor area is on two different streets and one side tends to have a quieter vibe. I didn’t check out the upstairs or stay in the bar area, but those are also options.“

“Went in early Saturday night with a larger group of friends. They directed us to the small bar on the right of the entrance and we had a fantastic time. The service was great, our bartender was friendly and efficient. The drinks were DELICIOUS! My friends commented it was one of the best espresso martinis they’ve ever had!“

“Was in Philly for a conference and our flight back to Texas was delayed until the next morning. Me and my friends, a total of 9 of us found this place that was still open. BEST DECISION EVER!! We were all so glad we came here and it was the best service! Ashley was our waitress and she was the absolute best and so sweet. I got the fried chicken sandwich and it was delicious!! My friend got the mac and cheese and she said it was the best mac and cheese she's ever had!“

“I really like the vibe in this place. I was very surprised to walk in and see mostly folks in there. I did find it odd that they had security, but i have only been here once so I don't know how wild it gets. They had karaoke going on which drew in a large crowd. Would go again to try out the food“

“We found this gem of a place by accident. Walking near our Airbnb while on a trip down from Canada to see our Flyers play. This is a local bar/restaurant but we were welcomed in and had a great time. Super friendly staff, service was fantastic. It was a great place to hangout. We will 100% add this place to our favourites and return when we are back down again for a game. We came mostly for drinks but one guy had their wings and said they were excellent.“

We had about a half hour wait which was fine. I don't think that diners in this restaurant realize how loud they are ... We were in a room off of the bar area & could hear a whole conversation from one of the high topped tables... When we were finally seated, we were ushered to a booth - the last booth in the bar area ... The patrons at the bar were LOUD which I mentioned to the waitress as we sat down... Her off handed comment was, they have been here a long time, they would be leaving soon ... Well - that didn't happen ... The loud woman at the bar & her friends were still there when we left ... It wasn't a relaxing dinner... Our food was fine... My husband had the blackened chicken sandwich and I had the crab cake ... If you decide to go here for a meal , call ahead for a reservation and ask not to sit in the bar area.“

It was a really slow night and it must’ve been difficult for her not making money, but she didn’t allow it to change the incredible service.
